Only way i see a murloc-esque axo working is if they are a pale one, or their egg was severely damaged before they hatch, resulting in their short and ugly state.

From purely an event perspective the development and implementation of this race would allow a whole new avenue full of possibilities to open up. From the simple exploration of ravines and sea wrecks to Eldritch Horrors gripping the seas and lurking about Axolotyn settlements. 

 

Alongside the opening of a whole new 'world' for events to be more consistently hosted in, another avenue of creature lore creation would open. Currently the server lacks a true plethora of sea creatures due to no race really doing much with the sea. I feel it'd be wonderful to see a actually populated sea, a sea to be afraid to sail alone into or without a Axolotyn guide.
 

A big +1 just for the opportunities it opens to explore for the playerbase.

I honestly think this would make a great addition to the server. Whether it becomes a creature or a brand new race entirely, I believe it will provide very good rp. And honestly I'd really like it if this becomes accepted as either one. ET race only though? Not sure about that, that would make it very rare to find one of these in rp and they would become less in numbers. I honestly think it should be more playable, especially for those who are not an ET. But those are just my opinions. Personally I'd like to play as the creature race myself! This deserves a huge. . .

I don't see why not. At the very least, try giving them a trial period or something, see how they come along. I think there's quite a bit of potential here, if given the chance.
