The DeNurem-Locklear Forge, Est. 1573, is a blacksmity aimed at providing the city of Johannesburg and its outer fringe settlements with high-quality tools, weapons and armour. The Forge is run by the Hansetian Dark Elf, Elizabeth DeNurem, who personally has over seventy years experience in the art, as well as a well-steeped family heritage in the field, with her father having invented the alloy known as Blacksteel during the First Emperor's reign. The Forge was initially funded by the honourable Ser Locklear, which allowed its creation and thusly bears his name.

 

 

As the Forge does not have the manpower nor tools to create a stockpile of forged goods (currently), products are instead created through an order system. Orders can be either bespoke goods, or standard bulk orders of goods; each has a different list.

The Forge also hosts a shop filled with a wide range of commonplace tools and goods that a Johannesburgher may require in their day-to-day lives, as well as more specialty goods. The Forge endeavours to keep the prices as fair and equitable as possible. All things listed are also bought on an inquiry basis.

Those who are long-time customers of the Forge may elect to become patrons of the business. Their names will be inscribed into the foundations of the building, and will receive both free repairs and a small discount on all orders.
