Krism 67 Share Posted September 16, 2016 So after minor conversations with people about the big range of personalities that exist on LOTC i wanted to know. Do you lift? Yes? No? Why? Why not? I am kinda interested in knowing. Just back from the gym and currently eating. EDIT: For the sake of no more comments on it, no rice, chicken or other good meats for post-workout meals in the house at the moment, settling for this with som yoghurt. Sky 0 Share Posted September 16, 2016 That actually looks putrid. Peas, corn, bacon (?), and pasta, all without any sort of sauce. Get this filth off of my forums.
molly molly molly 1329 Share Posted September 16, 2016 bacon is possibly the worst meat that you can eat to get protein, eat chicken instead also i lift many weights because it makes me feel real good and ladies love a strong man

I'm not gym junkie, but just some advice on it. It helps a lot! However, if you're talking on the 'Do you lift' as in bench-press, nope. I find that it's a waste of time when I'm at the gym to be honest; it requires more concentration and balance than actual muscle - the former are two things I severely lack (and the latter also lacking recently..!) But if you're talking about attending gym, I did for about three years. In the recent months I haven't been going; a mixture of laziness from my nocturnal schedule, and some health issues - Both of which I'm fixing up now. But have fun with your pasta..... Also getting some type of protein dense yoghurt with it. I don't have chicken or rice in the house at the moment.

Creeperhelix1337 50 Share Posted September 16, 2016 I've seen this 'Tommy Shmurda', and I can guarantee you he juices. No way that's ******* natty. Now let me tell you how to actually lift. Jokes aside, yeah I do. Krism, might want to get a massive ass tub of whey and aim to have two shakes a day, one for preworkout (if you haven't had a meal recently) and post workout most definitely. As for whole food proteins, you should stick to chicken and eggs, using peanut butter to get in your fats (assuming you count macros). Hopes this helps. sneLf 314 Share Posted September 16, 2016 Just drink like chocolate milk after A workout, you gets the protein outa that yeah?
Rayna Star 167 Share Posted September 16, 2016 I don't lift, but I run (for vocal training purposes). I've been trying to start a bit of lifting though, to stay in shape. Any tips are appreciated. But yeah, I always eat an egg afterward. They're pretty cheap and they fill you up. Add a protein shake in there and that's a good lunch/breakfast. Yeah, I generally want to stay away from supplements. Obviously they won't kill you or nothing, but if I can avoid putting fake stuff into my body and instead eat good healthy foods I will. Ford 1996 Share Posted September 16, 2016 Currently doing this: https://gyazo.com/5dd23f161a35c2ebe272ce08956557c4 Alongside Stronglifts, or basically this: https://gyazo.com/c59ac6d98483b457db614c7caaacb86b I'm trying to eat three meals a day now, with lots of protein like beef or chicken. My dorm has a great cafeteria. On occasion I get some "Freaky Green" which is a mixed juice of cucumber, lime, parsley, lettuce, and apple juice. Otherwise drinking water still and avoiding soda or juices with high sugars in them. I've only started like 2 weeks ago but I can already tell I'm gaining weight, and I'm trying to stray away from the skinny fat and move on to ottermode/semi-ripped, if possible. I want a body like this: https://gyazo.com/a06a63fef8b3439e88670d1ac17626b3 I'm thinking of incorporating whey protein shakes in my daily meals -- maybe just like one at dinner or after a workout. I used to do that but it didn't seem like it would work. Hope things go well. Currently having a glass of water, a chocolate chip Clif bar (extra calories), and "The Roost", or a breakfast sandwich with oat bread, lettuce, pesto, smoked turkey, fried egg, and tomato. Also @Krism you should have left the ******* bacon out. Beef is the best protein. Chicken is lighter. Pork is ACTUALLY just garbage for your body. Krism 67 Author Share Posted September 16, 2016 @Vashford Lol, i thought two posts and an EDIT disclaimer in the topic would be enough (: Bacon is what i had on hand and to meet a good amount of protein for that meal i decided to put it in.
