Thats why its important for people to give gifts if they accept to. It's a reAL pain in the butt to find replacements or make them.

Don't feel limited by the wishlist! It's only a WISH list, not a requirement. Get as creative as you want, just don't give lazy gifts.

What kind of presents were goven in the past?

Typically gifts are sent to me in some way, so I can confirm that the person is indeed getting a gift. The best way to be sure is to have them sent to me, and then I'll send them to the person. Although gifts can be IRL gifts, if they can be confirmed and the receiver is comfortable with giving their address (which I would ask for on request)

You can make a book full of memes if you want, just don't give it as a gift. Unless the person really  wants it, and likely would be more acceptable if it was a literal printed book.

If its gotten though my filter, then that's their personal problem. The thing is about S.S is that you may give 'fantastic' gifts, but that doesn't mean you necessarily will get one, but its the thought that counts.
