Greeting Lord of the Craft!

 

Get excited because Secret Santa 2016 has arrived! Continuing the tradition of the past 2 years, Secret Santa will be held starting today! For anyone who doesn't know what

Secret Santa is, here's a summary:

 

“Secret Santa is a Western Christmas tradition in which members of a group or community are randomly assigned a person to whom they anonymously give a gift.” -Wikipedia

 

So as always, here are the rules and deadlines:

 

Rules

 

1 - You must give a gift in order to receive a gift

 

2 - If you can not give a gift, PM us before the 20th! We will help find a gift for your recipient. (Although we ask you do your best to give a gift on your own)

 

3 - We do not handle gifts after they have been handed out. Make sure to get a gift off their wishlist or find an alternative

 

4. Put effort into gifts (ex. don’t just send an image you found on the internet- it will not be accepted).

 

 

Deadlines

 

Sign ups end December 12th

Withdrawal is December 16th

Gifts due by December 25th

Gift disbursement is December 31st

What if someone gives a gift but the person doesn't give a gift? What happens to the gift?

If someone doesn't give their gift, I will sort out a gift for them or depending on how it works out, the person who didn't give a gift will not receive there's and that gift may go to the person the non-gift giver was assigned. If the gift was a custom one, it may still be given to the non-gift giver, if that makes sense.
All in all we really encourage people to just give their gifts so this won't be a problem at all.
