drfate786 1690 Share Posted January 4, 2017 Hey guys, this is my thinktank and your the fish. I have a simple question for you guys. If life existed out there, in the great unknown. Would it be carbon based like we are? Would they/it breathe oxygen? And if we met these cyclopean horrors, would we both end up scaring each other to death with our ugly looks? Think carefully, extremophiles are able to survive in environments not seen here on earth, we evolved off of microbes like the extremophiles.

Guest Share Posted January 4, 2017 The city of R'lyeh exhibits characteristics similar to a spacetime bubble. The biggest observable effect is gravitational lensing; geometry appears to be distorted, and object can seem to appear and disappear based upon their relative positions. Interestingly, the bubble doesn't seem to cause spaghettification, since humans are able to enter and exit the city unharmed.
