The Culling of Ponce: Part Two

Peter Benevere accompanied by Olyvar De Aryn and Loius De Aryn had been sitting in the corner of the tavern enjoying a peaceful drink when all of a sudden the front doors were broken off their hinges. A group of cultists burst forth with loaded crossbows, Louis De Aryn and Olyvar De Aryn had been shot at point blank, their corpses slumped to the floor soon after. Peter Bedevere had jumped into action, but before he could unsheathe his blade the cultists attempted to stab him. He bravely caught one of their swords but was stabbed by the other in the process. He was then struck with a Warhammer and collapsed to the floor, dead. 

 

The cultists, now stained with the blood of the unworthy. Marched their way out of the tavern. They mounted their black steeds and rode into the night. Ponce had been culled once again and more was to come.

 

Posters would be strewn about Ponce, they read the following:

 

"THE CRIMSON COMES FOR YOUR LIVES!! SCREAM WRETCHES!"

Gornas washes his hands of Peter Bedevere's blood in the nearby river, recalling when he not so long ago struck the man with a glorious blow of his warhammer. Only to be followed with the grasping of Peter's face as he repeatedly bashed the man's head against the tavern's wall, letting out a light chuckle at such memories.

Mukar would shrug as he searches the desert for possible cultist activities that he was informed of by Alifer Amice, who had claimed cultists dressed in crimson attacked his expedition within the desert. He would surely find the location of the insignificant cult.

Little would Artimec know that the cultists are planning to attack him next after Haense. Their plans would be strewn about on a table in their secret clubhouse.
