Through out all of the Druidic groves would be small little parchment pamphlets bound in spun wool, there would also be a few scattered through out the Warhawkes, Wood Elven States, and Sutica.

Colonial Tree Colonies, One soul, Many souls, or a Meta-Soul

Prologue

Before I can get on with this topic, I would have to cover what a Colonial Tree Colony is. A Colonial tree Colony is a group of genetically identical trees that grow in a given location that all originated from a single ancestor, they also develop from a common mycelium, though this is often hidden under the soil. Now that that is cleared up on to the debate.

One Soul

One could say that a Colonial Tree colony have a single soul because it is technically one organism, though on the exterior it looks as if it is a forest, under the soil it is apparent that the tree’s root systems are all connected. This said it would be a valid argument that the colony shares a single soul.

Many Souls

Another valid argument would be that the organism consists of many souls, as the trees are technically clones to a single ancestor. A good analogy would be like a starfish losing an arm and the lost arm grows into a new starfish, we could all agree that those two organisms would have to separate souls.

Meta-Soul

As with the organism having many souls, all those souls could work in union forming a “Meta-Soul”. This would come about because though each tree could be a separate organism connected by their root systems, thus they would be linked to each other while having separate souls. This would be like an ant colony, they all work in union for one common goal but are different organisms, forming a “Super-Organism”.
