What’s the rule you agree with the most?: The rule about harrasing staff. I know that its not easy having to deal with so much people, especially keeping up an entire server, so when people begin to act crudely towards staff members I get slightly peeved.

How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: I've known about it for a while, but I am just now getting used to MineCraft.

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add three references to the server lore): (where does your character come from?; where have they traveled to?; what year were they born in? et cetera.)

 

 

Aphlis was birthed by a mysterious and off-putting middle-class woman named Garetza Mioans. The woman, who no one knew how she had even come close enough to a man to have gotten herself pregnant, was vile and ill-tempered, as well as snobby, half-crazed, obsessive and a stage 5 clinger.

 

She was the opposite of the ideal woman for the large empire-built city of Oren. 

 

Some said Garetza had been driven insane by the fumes that had once covered her home, the previous owner quite fond of halfling's grass, so much so that any new resident would surely still smell it's haunting and slightly off scent. They also said that the man had been a ghost, a result of the dreadful Dwarven civil war.

 

Garetza named Aphlis after the deceased daughter of a man she had never met, she said it so herself. People weren't sure Aphlis should be living with her at all. But nonetheless, Aphlis was raised by the insanely arrogant woman, who let a few but not all things rub off her unlucky child.

 

One, was definitely her characteristics... Aphlis looked nearly identical to her mother, which further raised questions on if she was even created through sexual contact. 

 

People really began to believe Garetza was a witch who was able to have asexual reproduction. 

 

Aphlis had yellow, almost cheese-colored hair, fair white skin that had no blush ever displayed on it's clear complexion, just like her mother, a thin bubbly nose with a tight bridge, narrowed cat-eyes with amber-splashed eyes and a thin but curved figure. She was the replica of her mother.

 

It was sad to waste her beauty, when she had not so slowly become the replica of her mother... Behavior-wise.

 

By the age of 6, Aphlis had become rather peculiar in the brain, obsessive with her hobbies, her eyes always widened with a grey-ish tint to them that threw off her natural amber color. She even became interested in her mother's woodworking profession slightly.

 

Anyone could see she would be just as crazed as her mother. But Oren would not allow another generation of.. Garetza... Flapping their figurative wings around. 

 

A small group of villagers plotted, and were successful in stealing the child during her sleep in a Rapunzel-esque way. 

 

They took her away to the grand library, where she was left, screaming crazily, in a cage. 

 

She was calmed by a pink-haired high elf, a rather peculiar occassion (but what could be more strange than a cheese-haired child screaming at the top of her lungs in a cage at the base of a library), with a gentle touch, and was from then on raised by this odd-haired, young looking woman named Lianne, who had lived through the defeat of the Northlands by Oren, and treasured Oren's courage so much that it's history was what she taught at the library. 

 

The woman would take Aphlis to the library every day, showing her the history of Axios, all the way to the origins of Aegis. Aphlis was taught discipline, and even if her mind never healed from the effects of living with a mad maiden, she realized that her living with her new mother was for the best, and was ever grateful to the villagers for taking her away from Garetza.

 

She was taught the skill of leather working so it was possible for her to create her own novels, something she then cherished, writing the memories she had of her mother, who she knew now had passed from a mental illness. 

 

Aphlis realizes how lucky she was, and she was no longer arrogant, however, it seemed like her mother would always be standing on her shoulder, shouting insane things and encouraging crazed behaviour. 

 

But control was her main focus, and she would never lose it... Hopefully.

 

Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?)

She has a habit of zoning out into space, as well as sometimes randomly muttering to herself in a deeper voice than her own. Otherwise, she is quite kind, though sometimes she might become slightly irritated when her past is brought up. She adores reading and loves chamomile tea.

 

Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?)

A writer, or leather worker ( preferably making leather journals.

Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?)

Poetry, creating leather masterpieces.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) Control, discipline, knowing to stop her urges, woodworking.

 

Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?)

She is 5'7, a small waist and skinny everywhere except her hips, as well as a smaller chest. Her skin is near snow white, with golden yellowy hair, and dark amber eyes. She has a small burn mark on her left ring finger from unknown causes. She wears a long white, smooth linen dress with a green cotton coat over it, only the top being buttoned. She wears a tight green headband around her head.
