The Death of a Simple Man

Rosella received the news, her expression becoming unsettled. Though she was not of the same faith, she said a quiet prayer in the cathedral that day before carrying on with her duties. The man hadn't been a general, nor a soldier. He was only trying to secure his people's safety, and hadn't deserved his death. If the rumors of who shot the arrow were true.. well, Rosella would be saying a few more prayers for the souls of those in Courland.

She hoped King Tobias would take the steps to reign in his people and clean his kingdom of undead.

Peasent farmers tend to mind their own bussiness. Hamele also raises his brow having never heard of nor met this 'Rotger' person.

"Told folks they had undead. Everyone think a Qali got desert fever though." Rakim mumbles to himself in his tinfoil bunker.

"Multiculturalism brought us here. Now ploughin' sheep gonna' be the norm in five years I reckon."

Rakim eyes the cyanide capsule he left inside his locker of emergency rations.

"Not today. Ericka will yell at me." Rakim frowns and decides to just accept life.
