The Duchy of Mardon has instated contemporary citizenship, taking effect immediately. Existing citizens are urged to reinstate their lawful status within the realm in order to reap the benefits. Furthermore, seeking residence within Mardon’s borders calls for a mandatory application, any social class & to identify would-be landowners and those of elevated influence for census.

I. CLASSIFICATIONS

 

      HAUT MONDE (a)

     Hereditary entitlements, status by blood. Henceforth, lawfully granted individuals by the Ducal Crown may ascend to this stratum, reaping the responsibilities and benefits that arrive with. Nobility, landholders, downwards the gentry may classify oneself as an aristocrat within Mardon’s sphere.

 

     COMMON PEERAGE (b)

     For those of plain birth, no titles or influential house behind their name. Working class, aspiring individuals who manifest the main body of Mardon.

 

II. CLAUSE & BENEFITS

 

     A.) Registry is mandatory for every eligible applying subject, registrar sake. It is a requirement for one to be a citizen; holding municipal or national office, military affair or land ownership.

     B.) Citizenship is not hereditary nor achievable by marriage unless noble. Each individual of one’s family will be required to file an application.

     C.) Propagating with “Law of the Land  - I” an individual of lawful citizenry possesses the right to plea for land. By only proper Mardonic registry this is achievable.

     D.) Corresponding citizenry are protected by the trifecta of MARDONIC LAW, their rights upheld as forewritten. Illegal immigrants are held under contempt, disdainful scrutiny which cannot be presided over within lawful capacity.

 

III. ENTREATY

 

     Refer to the initial section I. for specification on one’s classification. Holding office of any degree, a knightlyhood, military officer or of a privileged birth, you fall under the umbrella of Classification (a). Otherwise, you may consider yourself a common citizen (b) unless dictated otherwise by His Grace of Mardon. Moreover, submitting a valid application may be processed by the Lord Steward in Lorath, via bird or hand for review.
