Oan of Brevis, one of the new members of the city, pins up a piece of vellum. On it is written a desire to take the role of Bar Keep at the local tavern.

Edward looks over the parchment, left hand twirling his moustache. After a moment of consideration he'd toss the parchment aside, "Seems I've a Bar Keep."

Siegmeyer, a narcissistic former soldier of the West takes notice that Oak Shade is in need of a Captain for their Guard. Once home he immediately sits down with quill and paper, sending it off shortly after revising it profoundly. The letter would plainly state his many qualifications and reason for his interest in the Guard. At the bottom of the paper he would sign his name with many waves and curls of his quill, a probable sign of an intricate signature.

Once the bird carrying the letter had disappeared from sight he would clasp his hands together and mutter to himself "Who could even overtrump me?" Then making a large meal for himself, nearly fit for a Lord. After the meal he would head for his room and go to sleep, in hopes of speeding up the time for his most likely recognition as Captain of the guard.

In truth deep down he had no idea what the true answer would be.

Edward receives the letter where it is promptly tossed unto a pile of projects and documentation. For a duration of 3 days, it is hidden within the pile before it is discovered again by Edward. He'd finally open the letter, glance it over and send off a messenger to collect the man.
