What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is when you become a different character other from yourself, and live the daily life as that character.

What is metagaming?: Metagaming is giving out information from rp while not in rp.

What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Powergaming is when your character is doing something that is obviously not able to be done by that specific character.

 

In-Character Information
Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add three references to the server lore): (where does your character come from?; where have they traveled to?; what year were they born in? et cetera.) Hoen, a lonesome traveler not very known about. He keeps his distance from most, and prefers to be by himself most of the time... Hoen was born in Norland, the capitol for the Highlanders. He does not know much of his family, just that his parents gave him in the hands of his uncle. His uncle Reindolf was a strong willed man, who did not care much for others. Reindolf fought in many wars such as the Norlandic war vs the Dwarves, leaving him emotionless. Reindolf was not around for very much of his childhood. Until later on when Hoen was a teen, he died in a skermish between the Norlanders and the Dunamis, leaving Hoen homeless on the streets. Hoen had no one but himself. Hoen learned to take care of himself, and managed most of his teenaged years. He now seeks to join some sort of guard force in Courland for the Stauntons. But for now, Hoen is in search looking for a place to belong.

Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?)  Hoen loves to fight, and adventure, but chooses to do so by himself. He does not like conversation.

Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) Hoen's main ambition is to just get through life. he does not wish to become famous, or noble.

Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) Hoen is a great fighter, especially with a sword and shield. Hoen is also very good at being sneaky, and thief like.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) Hoen needs to work on being more sociable, and likeable.

Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) Hoen is 5,9 and weighs about 160*. He has a lean face with pale blue eyes, with medium length black, brown hair. Hoen has a strong, built structure.
