Which items that dramatically affect PvP should be removed/nerfed in a major way? Or should they stay as they are?

pvp was fine before diamond armor. when 6.0 rolls around, just remove diamond armor. definitely no reason to punish the flays by removing it right now, but when everything is wiped for the next map, remove diamond armor entirely, as it was before

Pretty much that. I don't think diamond armor was a welcome addition in any case but you shouldn't punish those who capitalize on the opportunity. Grinding has now become an essential part of the server, bringing in donations and players who seek that experience: thus, LotC needs it to survive. Sure, some things can be nerfed to even the playing field, but at the end of the day grinding is here to stay and it is something you have to get used to.

Players obtain this gear not from sitting in a chair doing nothing. It takes a very long to grind skills and often times to get to a high tier it involves other professions to contribute, whether it be resources or obtainable knowledge, leading it to be a more complicated task in certain instances. In terms of being too OP I feel that is at the fault of groups not utilizing something that is clearly better than nothing.

Moved to The Great Library. It shall be sorted into the appropriate category shortly.
