Town of Castell Ducal Road Est. 1608 Located within the march of Ponzan, near the palace of Veldin, and proximate to acres of farmland and vineyards, the picturesque town is in an ideal location for trade and commerce amongst Courland and its allies. Castell offers a unique architectural design, that provides luxurious and spacious abodes for all residents, and places them within protection of reinforced walls. The town provides access to an array of amenities, and opportunities to develop every profession. Its close proximity to the public farms, mines and woodlands, coupled with access to banks and auctions, makes it an extremely desirable location for all trades. In addition, citizens of the Duchy crowd around the square and market area, and watch the sundry amusements around the town such as jesters and musicians, or may wish to attend the frequent masses held at the Church of Castell. Location You can get to the strategically placed town by travelling east of the Courlandian capital of Aleksandria; or north from the Asul docks, past Fort Mark, the March of Seville and the Veldin palace; or by passing through the southern borders of the Sultanate of Haria. Spoiler (X: 1152, Z: 1170) Governance The Kingdom of Courland, and therefore the Duchy of Savinia, follow a system of feudal tenure. The town itself is a barony, under the administrative control of the baron, count, marqués and duke. Within the system of barony of Castell itself is a group of stewards, responsible for the management of the town and its residents. The position of steward is bestowed by the baron themselves, on whomever he discerns fit for such a role of responsibility.
