The Eternal Mubarizun

“A champion eternal,

An army eternal”

 

 

 

The Eternal Mubarizun are known as the Champions of Haria. Those that serve swear themselves to protect Allah’s holy name and word, the Sultan and his family, the good people of Haria, and the beautiful lands that Haria peacefully inhabits.

 

Citizens of Haria are able to enlist in the Mubarizun and will be able to receive the benefits that the job entails. Those that serve the Mubarizun will be given free housing in the barracks. Those that are not of farfolk blood and do not follow the Al’iiman Rashidun are to be considered full citizens, and of farfolk blood upon reaching an officer rank.

 

Any and all militant structures that form or operate in Harian lands may be commandeered by the Mubarizun and Amir. This includes guard structures of any vassal, keep, or town under Harian rule and any mercenary group, or other militant guild. The Mubarizun is to be the defacto militant force within Haria and all Harian holdings.

 

 

Leadership

Sultan

The Leader of The Sultanate of Haria. The Sultan holds a divine right to the ruling of Haria and holds ultimate power over the Sultanate. The Sultan is the director of the entire nation and all who serve the nation will show utmost respect and utter loyalty towards him.

 

Amir

The Amir is appointed to run all martial and police duties. He is responsible for creating an organization that can function autonomously and maintains the ability to micromanage any function as deemed fit.

 

Military Counsel

 

Naqib [Captain]

The Naqib is responsible for commanding a division. Under typical circumstances they will take orders directly from the Amir and then organise their division respectively. They are permitted to controll promotion within their division and perform any specialization or sub-dividing as they see fit, so long as the overall division structure still follows the Amirs design.

Vizier [Adviser]

The Visier serves as both a secretary and an intelligence officer. Their duties range from the mundane of paperwork, picking up any slack in recrutement processing, ensuring the organization ledger is maintained, and providing counsel. Their less mundane tasks include communication, the collection of information, and the processing of information.

Janissary

The Janissaries are hand picked from the ranks of the Mamluks. It is a royal guard position that can only be achieved through taking the path of Ghulam. Janissaries are expected to guard any noble of government official of Haria and may perform as body doubles under certain situations. Janissaries have the power to deal with any direct threat against harian nobility or government as they see fit. They carry the same PK clause of the Ghulam.

 

Mage Counsel

Sahooru

The Sahooru is to manage all mage activity within the Mubarizun. The mass manufacture of any magical instrument is not protocol. What is expected is the recovery and containment of any magical artifact used against The Mubarizun and by extension Haria. The creation of specialised equipment may be organised on special occasions. Under normal command structure organization they hold an equivalent position of Mussaid.

Sahir

The Sahir are under control of the Sahooru in concerns of anything concerning magic, otherwise they fall into an organization equivalent of an Areef.

Officers

Mulazim [Lieutenant]

The Mulazim is the highest non-military council ranking. It maintains the same authority as the Mussaid with the ability to control the Mussaid and all underneath it. They hold the added responsibility of training of recruits.

Mussaid [Warrant officer]

The Mussaid is the first with authority to approve recruitment forms and make requests for promotion to the divisions Naqib.

Enlisted

Mamluk

The Mamluk holds the same authority as Raqib with the pure zeal that the Ghulam path entails. They receive both higher quality and more specialised equipment, in comparison to their Raqib equals. The path of Ghulam also brings the privilege of skipping the ranks of Jundi and Areef. They carry the same PK clause of the Ghulam.

Raqib [Sergeant]

The Raqib directly commands the Areef and all below it, so by extension it carries command over the Jundi.

Areef [Corporal]

The Areef is the first rank with authority, it holds command over the Jundi.

Jundi [Private]

The Jundi is the lowest actual rank, with no actual authority except for the claim of being better than the untrained recruits.  

Recruits

Ghulam

The Ghulam is the first step in becoming the faceless embodiment of the Mubarizun. It is a path to be held in the highest of honor for the creation of the most elite of Allah’s soldiers. It is a path that must be started at, or before the age of 12 is a PK clause for RP death. Mechanical PVP related deaths not included.

Aljadid [Untrained]

The Aljadid is an untrained recruit, either a civilian eager to begin a soldier's life or an existing soldier that is currently considered unproven.

Command structure

The Mubarizun’s structure uses divisions where a Naqib is in direct control of a division and at the point where a division is filled a new division is created. Within a division there will be twice as many of the rank under, which means a completely full division will contain: One Naqib, two Mulazim, four Mussaid, eight Raqib, sixteen Areef, and thirty two Jundi. The commanding authority of each rank holds an effect over all ranks underneath it.
