They get banned because they used glitched weapons during pvp, regardless if you knew because ignorance is no excuse... Thats like saying "Oh  yeah I pugsied a ton of people but I didn't know it was against the rules, therefor you can't ban me."

That is an extreme example, whereas this involves gear that had already been converted in the past, then suddenly being unconverted after being repaired because the devs let something slip by. How often do you stop and think "better check my converted gear!" maybe learn about the situation before responding.

My point is ignorance is no excuse. Malg had a ton of other glitched weapons and glitched armour in his chests.

It wasn't just Malgs chest, it was where the Ashguards gear was stored, all the gear we REPAIRED. Honestly our group was fucked over because we repaired our gear and didn't think to inspect every little detail of it and if this had happened to any other group I guarantee the majority of staff and players would have reacted differently.

Same thing happens when gear is given a description too.

EDIT:

After this I found a glitched weapon in my chest, it had 6 attack instead of 5 and when I did /convert it didn't work (Said "this item is already converted" or something similar). I could see how people could be confused by that.

Fuze, they quite clearly checked their weapons and armour before coming to the raid. They knew they were only allowed 3 people so they evidently brought their best gear, which clearly involved checking the percentages of the weapons. Saying that they didn't know they were glitched and that they're "normal people and don't check 24/7" is stupid as anyone before a raid checks the percentage of a weapon and picks the best one there.

Ok, I shall all kindly ask you guys to remain kind and civil to one another. I am keeping a watch on this thread as to guide you, people, away from nasty slinging of insults and stabs at one another. Be aware that if I see any comments of such nature, you are liable to have a warning point. This does also count for statuses and any other ways of talking about this topic.

Big brother is watching you.

You can't seriously be angry that your leaders were banned for breaking rules to further enhance their factions pvp experience.

Out of respect for the FMs I will start toning down the salt and keep it civil. We most certainly did not know we were only allowed 3 people. That is why we showed up with 8 and had to be told that we couldn't war raid on behalf of Savinia. As for checking gear percentages, I only keep one set of chain gear and one weapon. I had been carrying that gear around with me since the warclaim. I had no reason to check my gear let alone know it was glitched. My axe literally just said +9 instead of +5. I thought that was a completely normal axe. You are making it sound like my weapon had a +5+5+5 where it was clearly stacked. Bear in mind, this was my first Black Ferrum weapon after the 1.8 revert and it was given to me already converted. How would I know that it was bugged if it was clearly converted?
