Upon hearing of another living wyvern, six brave souls from the Falling Horizons guild trekked across the mountains near the Westerlands. During the perilous journey they nearly turned back, too used to the constant warmth of the desert where they hail from. Their leader encouraged them to press on, however, and they soon found a male wyvern asleep, the claws from a deceased wyvern jutting out from the ground nearby and the skulls of previous hunters lay haphazardly in the nest.Upon inspection, the wyvern immediately awoke, and began to attack all in the vicinity. The wyvern managed to severely wound both one of the humans, one of the elves, and the orc as they began unleashing a barrage of arrows at its eyes in an attempt to blind it. Upon the three wounded retreating, and everyone seeking cover from the resulting wyvern's liquid torrent of inferno that had spewed from its maw, the leader of the guild, Hareven the dwarf, began to sneak up on it while Arradir leapt at the beast, embedding his sword into its wings. Though the elf's assault was barely effective, being flung away afterwards, the sword remained embedded as the wyvern's eyes were shot out by Lily the human and Kaog'Lur the Uruk. Hareven proceed to stagger the wyvern's balance by slamming its hind limbs with his axes, allowing for several more damaging arrow barrages to its throat, nose, and eyes from Lily, Kaog'Lur, and Divahern the other elf. Having recovered by this point, Aluatis, adopted son of Hareven, charged to recover Arradir from the next wave of liquid inferno that would ensue from the berserking wyvern. Hareven, taking the initiative to protect his guild children, climbed the wyvern and drew his aurum blade, using his axes to decimate the wyvern's neck scales, before proceeding to thrust his blade into its neck with all of his might, quelling the beast once and for all. After divvying up the removed claws, scales, meat, and horns, the guild members began to head back, proud of their great teamwork, and having all survived such a dangerous encounter, though some members injured, and other's pride hurt, everyone knew, as Hareven had instilled within them, "Nothing is irreparable."
