Good morning, afternoon or night people of LOTC!

As you can see we, of the Forum Team, have decided to also launch a your view thread as to gauge the public opinion on our team and to attempt and find ways for us to have a more transparent way of handling (if this wasn't already the case according to the LOTC populace) and generally give everyone a better time.
 

To help us out with collecting information in the most effective way we are going to ask you all to follow in the following form:

How long have you played LOTC?: Little over a year

What is your opinion on the Forum Team as a whole?: They're doing a fine job, nothing to complain about. They're all friendly and forthcoming.

How well does the Forum Team perform according to you?: They've not done anything significant as far as I can remember, but that's kind of hard to do when your only job is literally just moderation. As I said before nothing to complain about either.

How do you feel about our communication with the player base?: A little quiet at times, but there's nothing to communicate so

How could we improve the previous?: throw a party

How long have you played LOTC?:  Roughly four months now

What is your opinion on the Forum Team as a whole?: I think they're one of the most grounded teams in terms of organization and (perceivable) professionalism. By far.

How well does the Forum Team perform according to you?: I believe they're doing quite a fine job currently.

How do you feel about our communication with the player base?: It seems as if Forum Team just fades into the background at times due to a lack of presence, but these sort of posts definitely help change that.

How could we improve the previous?: Generally just gauging the player-base's thoughts and concerns like this goes a long way.

How long have you played LOTC?: almost 2 years

What is your opinion on the Forum Team as a whole?: pretty lit, i spout endless cancer and they only hide my posts, much better than a communist style reign 

How well does the Forum Team perform according to you?: its not that hard a job so its difficult to **** up, the problem is doing too much i like the balance but i want them to be a little bit more liberal

How do you feel about our communication with the player base?:  decent

How could we improve the previous?: kill all the communists

What is your opinion on the Forum Team as a whole?: God awful and should be removed, or reduced to just archiving and banning spam accounts.

How well does the Forum Team perform according to you?: Very poorly.

How do you feel about our communication with the player base?: Occurs solely through baseless warns.

How could we improve the previous?: Stop warning.

Its okay

How well does the Forum Team perform according to you?:

This run of the FM Team isn't as consistent and it's very silly  you have quota / public quota which may lead to the idea of people spamming warnings/archiving things unneededly to "reach qouta"

How do you feel about our communication with the player base?:

Well your formatting for this your view fill out needs to be changed, and you should probably have this put as an announcement on the picture scroll thing so everyone knows this thread exists lol @Paleo

How long have you played LOTC?:
I've been an active member of the community for a little over a year.

What is your opinion on the Forum Team as a whole?:
There haven't been any forum riots, so you must be doing something right.

How well does the Forum Team perform according to you?:

Doing very well-- I'm impressed with the performance of this team.

How do you feel about our communication with the player base?:

Monthly team reports and your views are a great way to keep up with the community. Some of the FMs seem to be more interactive that others, but it's not really an issue. 

How could we improve the previous?:

Honestly keep up the good work. This team is a bit more lenient than the last one, and it seems to be working out well.

Not to be a parrot, but a quota for the FM team is unnecessary. Seeing as quota isn't set very high, maybe just base your team off activity rather than their moderation actions. A drop in a staff member's activity is easy to point out. Setting a line makes it so that they could get away with doing the bare minimum of work just to stay on the team. And with it being public, there are those who will go out of their way to find things to warn/hide/lock/archive because they want to be recognized for their amount of work. I'd say if the team quota remains, at least keep it within private meetings. Though from my experience on the FM team with multiple large roster changes, people will do their work with or without a quota. The ones who don't try are obvious.
