A new sheriff in town

Madeline Applefoot would be sitting in the sheriff burrow's desk, pouring through various papers new and old and marking down various things with a quill. A bit of candle light would splash across her face, illuminating her tired eyes as she searches through page after page of old documents.

"T'ese papers nevah seem ter end!"  She'd chuckle lightly to herself, her head drooping downwards.

She'd fall asleep right there on her desk, a wad of papers in her hands.

One of those papers would read:

"The punishment system as written by Madeline Applebrook:

Improperness is nay good! And is punishable by a short time out in the cell

Hoarding goods that the village needs is punishable by a spank with the spanking shovel!

No violence against others! Violence will get you a good spanking and the rest of your night in the cell!

Betraying the halflings and letting the bigguns have their way with us is punishable by a very hard spanking with the spanking shovel!"

Soon, a paper like this would be nailed to the Mapleshire Notice Board

For some reason the halflings don't like the halfling accent being used in writing, so I removed the accent
