The town crier would climb up on the stands, ringing a bell to gather the attention of all the peoples in the square.

 

"Hear ye, hear ye! The time for campaigning is over! All citizens of the Kingdom are encouraged to pokemon go to the polls and vote for their preferred candidate for Maer of Markev! Only one vote per person. Voting shall end in 2 Saint's Days time. Best of luck to all candidates!"

 

 

((Voting shall end on Friday at 5 PM EST, and the winner shall be announced Friday night.))

Aalbert Lachs witnesses the leading candidates as they spoke to the crowds of haense, he glanced upon Falk Geldmeister and frowned in distaste at his crushing lead. This could not do, a undead leading haense was unholy, the merchant had clearly rigged the system. If only the other candidates banded together and followed Hedemar of Markev who took a steady, second place with ten votes. The monk sighed and trudged off towards the church.

The town crier would get up on the stands again, beckoning the people closer for a quick announcement.

 

"Only the votes of Haensetians shall be considered when votes are counted! Any votes from citizens of other Kingdoms or groups shall be considered null!"

With the vote ended and the counting done the town crier would, for the final time, climb atop the stands in the Red Square.

 

"Hear ye, hear ye! Thank you to all who voted! Without further ado, our new Maer is Hademar of Markev who won with 11 Haensetian votes! In second place came Karol Vance, with 8 Haensetian votes. Although Falk had more total votes than the others, most of his votes were found to be by non-citizens of the Kingdom, and were not included in the final count!

 

Once again, congratulations to Hademar! May he serve well."
