Biography: Serenla was born in 1620, and grew up in a city near the coast in the Orenian Empire in Axios, the only child of a poor family. As so many children, she was tomboyish and troublesome, though being poor she frequently took up the responsibilities of an adult to help her parents in their many times of need, donning a mask of practicality and rationality that made for a less fun playmate, giving her a lonely teenage life. By the time she was 15 her mother had fallen ill and died, and her father was injured in his work, leaving him unable to do many things for a great deal of time. Serenla took up the responsibilities, and worked herself to exhaustion nearly every day for years until by some good fortune, a lord employing her father for a job took a liking to him and hired him on full time to work in his stables. Serenla encouraged him to go and live in comfort with the lord, leaving her alone in small home she had grown up in. While she carried on the work her parents had raised her to do, she found herself not only bored, but horribly lonely. While she was no longer struggling financially, she no longer had purpose, and knew she would not find it in the empty house. With no real plan, she made preparations to sell the home and use the money to provide safe and comfortable travel, though to where, she didn't know. However, before she could do so, news came of the coming apocalypse, and she fled along with everyone else, leaving behind all she had. She fled with many to the new world, Atlas, but in the chaos found herself hopelessly lost. After despairing a while, she became determined that this was fate, and that she would carry on as she would have, and travel aimlessly until she found a place she could call home.

Personality Traits: There is still a childish joy in her heart, but as she always has, often keeps it in check. She is practical, and patient, often able to deal with the worst of people when she has to without dropping a beat. Yet for those she believes to be deserving, she is selfless to a fault. 

Ambitions: Her ambitions are humble, desiring only to find a place which she can call home, and work in which she can find fulfillment. 

Strengths/Talents: She is an adept business woman, and as her parents raised her, an excellent farrier and groom to horses of all types. She has worked hard labor, so she is quite strong, and has excellent endurance. 

Weaknesses/Inabilities: She is stubborn, and a bit too serious. Despite her wit, she is slow to get jokes and puns, and often is the last to laugh.

Appearance: She's of an average height, and a muscular build, though not without beauty and feminine attributes. She has long, dark auburn hair with dark blue eyes. Her hands are calloused and tough, and she has a few small scars on her hands and arms, though pale and hardly noticeable.
