Upon the river east of Markev, the migration happens again. After years of prosperity under Haense's generous protection, the heathen clan parts ways. Their timber sawing, homes collapsing; Their entire camp, growing smaller each day. Through them pass nomads and refugees, and many jovial hoots and hollers are heard-- For to them, this act was not one of treachery or abandonment, but a simple fact of life and cause for celebration: In time, all homes must be left, and with the open road comes adventure and fortune. In the aftermath of the war, hope seemed slim for a protective embrace for the nomadic Gallic Clan, yet still they depart.

A priest of their people, the one responsible for this great upheaval, stands and watches over the rolling carts. The last man out again, steed standing at his side.

"The tidings were fair, good King Otto, just like I hoped... But for you, I fear the worst. Wherever you are, your kind deeds here live on."

He spoke to the wind, as though the vanished man would hear.

"Your people were a gift and your generosity helped us attain all we now have, but now it's time for us to move on. May your ancestors guide you and keep you, whatever sky you may see."
