Apple Pie, 1660

It was an odd year, that year of 1660. Renatus-Marna and its allies had destroyed the heretical forces of Norland, and brought Haense to heel in the battle of the Sleeping Swamps.

In this year of 1660, some boys become men, and others, unfortunately, ladies. Some had been born, and many more fallen. Yet, still, it was the deeds behind the scenes that were truly noteworthy in the chaos that was the Global Assembly.

In the midst of Renatus’s Writ of Exit, the Holy Church of Canon and the Holy Order of Saint Lucien made its way to Curon to present their case against the Global Assembly. In the meeting, her Highness, Linette was shown evidence of necrotism that had plagued the Global Assembly- the severed head of Lotte Baptiste, its chairman. Yet, despite this evidence, Lotte Baptiste was still seen to having walked about freely. It was only rational to make the connection that a man who once dead and now among the living was, in fact, an undead.

Thus, the Princess-Regent Linette too agreed to depart from the Global Assembly and evict its compound, opting to destroy it in order to remain faithful and against the undead. And so, they moved. Curonites, Lucienists and even his Holiness converged upon the compound. Its banners were torn down, and the building cleared.

Alas, once the congregation reached the office of the dreaded chairman, he, himself, appeared. Veining ignorance, the Church opted to slay the undead swiftly as to not permit any necrotic trickery. And so, he was indeed slain with the simple order “Apple Pie”. Impaled by Holy Ser Heinrich and further put down by Bishop Robert, evil was quelled. And in this quelling of evil, the Global Assembly too, through association, was quelled.

Bishop Robert emerged from the scene with his battle-brothers, and exclaimed into the streets of Curon: “The evil that was the Global Assembly is dead, and we have killed it!”

Let the faithful rejoice this day, for the order of Apple Pie had succeeded in the quelling of this actual global threat. Let all know that those who persist in support of the Global Assembly shall be guilty of Necrotism by association, and they too, shall be purged from the face of our free continent.

"The Waldenian sleeper agents... I thought it to be just rumors..." shivers Ser Carlovac as he crawls into bed, laying in a fetal position.

"You're a halfling. Halflings aren't supposed to get involved in the politics of biggun nations. Maybe we need to put you down next.." says Constantine.

"Random halflings are fine. Halflings that try to impose laws on all nations and enforce a globalist agenda are not," says Constantine.

"Madeline, just let it go... Don't get yourself killed over this, it's not worth losing a really good Halfling over." Auralia muttered from the Seven Skies.

Falk shuffles around in his seat in his woodland manor upon hearing off the death of Lotte Baptiste- a good friend. He had heard stories of the Orders rise once more to prominence. . .but couldn't help but chuckle at the time he slew them in the cathedral. Yet, his brief moment was scraped away by the tendrils of sadness as memories of Ponce, The Companie D'Aryn, the town of Skelmersdale, the GA, and overall their friendship doused his mind. But perhaps it wasn't lost yet. . .perhaps Lotte could be brought back much like he was following the sacking of Little Ysrael and the hands of those dreadful Orenian Goyim - as he called them. But perhaps it was for nought. Only time could tell. . .

Madeline Applefoot would sigh, having heard the advice of the dead. She'd keep her mouth shut from now on, not wanting to be killed by the anti-GA purgers along with Lotte.

A certain Morghuul clad in a ragged dress screeches, having ordered and been present for Lotte's execution in another life, more than thirty years ago in Adelburg.
