Across the Dominion, posters would be tacked to walls and buildings, directions mapped out that end at the Port of Velunor. A note is written below:

It is with great pleasure that we announce the opening of the Port Market in the District of Velunor.

 

Currently we have 7 stalls available for purchase, with many more to come. Please speak with a Steward regarding the purchase of these stalls.

 

Please note that all merchants within Velunor must adhere to the laws therein.

The new market was abuzz with various elven forms and the children of Onyx stirred, carrying their estranged goods to their stalls. Bins of strange spices, colorful mushrooms, and smoked meats of questionable cave beasts brought an exotic aroma into the air all to alien to the other elves but warm and homely to the sons and daughters of ash. Life breathed anew within the harbor as fresh 'Ker faces and elder families seemed to congregate together once more. The elder raven rattled through the market with a warm smile on his face.

Xeno, an Isilioleth of blood, remain rooted within the messy soils and soot of the dense, disordered forests of Atlas. His movements were lethargic, though he allowed parched lips to move and muttered. "The Isilioleth continue to prove to me, the strength of reconstruction and regrowth. Distance shan't return to spoil the changes we have provoked and I continue to become humbled by the dedication of my own blood. I may not be with you, now, though Spirits shall always allow you to feel me beside you all, in every step of this traitorous path."
