Cedric looks out upon the fleeing Reiver hosts as they evacuate their bandit holdings.

Cedric crawled forwards, belly on the earth, as he approached the nearby hill. He peered over the edge - eyes straining against the dawning sun that filtered out details to provide only a broad picture. He had aimed to get details for the upcoming battle - a last attempt to glean out some hidden weakness in the bandit fort that might make it easier to penetrate so less of his comrade’s lives would be lost. The sight before him was not one that he had expected however; it was an event that surprised even the hardened mercenary.

The bandits who had inhabited the stout, ugly fort - the so-called Reivers - were leaving. Faced with the Renatian forces, and following so soon after the failure of the Courlanders to emerge victorious from their defence of White Peak, they had chosen the cowardly option. Instead of fighting and dying to defend their holdings in a courageous last stand - a chance to prove their mettle as men - they had chosen to take the opportunity and escape with their lives.

Rising to his feet and dusting off his tattered tunic the Reiter turned about and began to jog towards the gates of Senntisten. He had news to bear; the bandits they had faced were no more, too cowardly to face their opponents on the field, leaving nothing but a ruin in their wake and a legacy of insipid weakness and failure.

"No true bandit'd die for ah stone pillar" mah'r would say to himself as he left the Reiver Tower, carrying anything he could grab of value.

Coltaine mourns, having witnessed the fierce battle between Reivers and the huge Cockatrice that had laid waste to the tower. Though the beast had destroyed the mighty tower it could not defeat the stout Reivers who had cast it down and plundered its nest before taking everything of value from the crumbling tower and leaving it.

Daquan Daemyr cackles as he departs with his belongings, questioning whether Renatians actually believe that Reivers are defined by a building.

Lonan Daemyr Sits on a ridge, legs dangling off of the rocks, looking at the fallen tower and the cockatrice body that lays atop it, "Everything has it's end." he'd state standing up and moving along.
