Medvekoma 2073 Share Posted July 26, 2018 THE KAZ ULRAH HIGH COUNCIL The previous stone day members of Kaz Ulrah's High Council, as well as Clan Fathers of each clan gathered for a meeting to determine the future of the kingdom. The six clans unanimously decided to elect KORALON ONYXHEART to the position of HIGH QUEEN OF KAZ'ULRAH, immediately in effect and allowing the new Queen-elect to chair the council meeting proper. This leaves her the seventh ruler of Kaz'Ulrah, and the 55th Dwarven Monarch in continuity from Urguan. She assumed the throne with Torvin Blackaxe as High-King Consort, whom she met & wed while within the Great Skygod Prison. THE QUEEN'S COUNCIL The High Queen called for any dwarf to approach her or her council if they intend to take up political office, whether the office exists already or not, and whether it is occupied or not. Furthermore, the Queen proclaimed the preliminary council make-up which will be re-confirmed in the following stone days: Hamnil Frostbeard is elevated to be Queen's Hand. Garrond Frostbeard is appointed to the rank of High Ambassador. Dwifur Goldhand is chosen to remain Master of the Coin. Officer Grudgebeard is chosen to remain Sheriff of Kaz'Ulrah. Kazrin Starbreaker is appointed to the rank of High Remembrance. The office of Warden shall remain empty, with Dürar announced as Protege under guidance of Hamnil Frostbeard. The office of High Marshal shall remain empty, with regency under the Queen's Hand and the Sheriff of Kaz'Ulrah. Nerak Frostbeard, as tradition, remains part of the council in the seat of High Prelate. Furthermore, an amendment is announced to the resolution of the council meeting. The office of Forgemaster shall remain empty, though Rhaegor Doomforged is announced as Protege under Koralon Onyxheart. THE KINGDOM PROJECT The High Queen also announced a Kingdom-wide development project with the aim of revitalising and improving Kaz'Ulrah. Details and individual project leaders will be published progressively over the course of the following stone days. Any dwarf interested in participating in these projects is welcome to address the Council or the High Queen.
