August Monthly Update Log

The beginning of fun updates

The month of August feels like it flew by welcome to our next update, even though I feel like I just typed the last update yesterday. We are beginning to start new information on projects. A New Skin Archive is about to be released, thank you to all our contributors, and this will kick off the start of the posts and information around the Tailor’s Guild. Thanks for waiting to patiently I know this has been frustrating for us all. MickMeist has a new project involving banditing that he is going to be releasing information on soon. A series of forum posts and informational threads will begin as a new communications project. I am very excited to begin seeing these new works in action!

New Player Data

 

I am going to move us right into the New Player Data for the month. August’s most applied for race is human once again, last month we had seen elves take lead for the first time in a while. Humans took lead at 46.3%, elves were in second at 33.7%, Orcs in third at 10%. Dwarves had then been a bit after Orcs at 6.8% and Halflings and Kha tied at 1.6%.

Our application rate has remained high but steadied out compared to the surplus of applications we received over the early summer months. Our number came to 386 total applications this month. Our acceptance rates have hit 51.6% while our denial rates totaled at 48.5%. MickMeist has been working very hard to look into our current forms to prepare a new form for us to begin collecting more data, as well as add some separation into our data, so we may be looking at separate data in the comments again if available. Our most accepted timezone was American with 67.2% of incoming players, European timezone players came in second with 29.8%, and Oceania had a total of 3% of incoming players.

Member Alterations

 

This month we had not added any new members to focus on the members added within the last month, however we are going to begin adding new members once again. We are especially looking for PST, GMT, and other uncommon timezone areas. Please consider applying if interested. We want to send our love to Torkoal_Tom, Punisher8817, MadYeAd, Lackless, and Riftblade who have moved on from our team and on to other things. Our friendship and love does not end with the team but continues on past it. Special thank you to Torkoal to all the work she has done with us within her months alongside us. And a special congratulations to Riftblade for becoming Forum Team Director!

 

Team Data

 

This month was a great month on the team, and we have lots of new faces in our top spots! King of Quota is once again a Queen! Congratulations Ivoryyy_ you made it! Ivoryyy_ was followed closely by ZachsSlayer, Skale then tagged behind, and Tenredux followed behind Skale.

Until the forum post on how to join Tailor’s Guild comes out will we be able to start adding members but please consider it if interested in making skins. Please keep your eyes peeled for our post on our new projects I am very excited for them to start coming out to you. The team has worked so hard this month and we have been busy busy busy.

A Thank You

 

I want to thank Flamboyant and Knox for being excellent helps to the team this month, they are only two at the moment and doing all they can, we really appreciate it. I also want to thank MickMeist once again, I had fallen terribly ill in the last week and he had really stepped up to the plate once again and took in a lot of work on my absence on his own. I want to thank my team for being incredibly and helping me everyday. I also want to thank Vaynth for always being around and great help, though the team is no longer hers she still continues to be there to support it and that is amazing.
