Foundation of the Loyalist Party (as commonly known as “LOPA”)

Lord Suffolk examined the faces of the men sitting around him, he noted his son James scrabbling on a parchment, not being sure if he was preparing for his lord father’s words or writing a poem for some princess’ favour. Tither were but a few participants, discretion concerning the inner meeting that would follow his declaration was essential. He rose and ordered his servant to bring him the parchment, he broke the seal and begun reading calmly but firmly:

“My lords, ladies, messieurs and mesdames, on this day, I the Lord of Suffolk, Count of Pembroke, hitherby declare the establishment of the Loyalist Party, with the Mission Statement; To protect and defend and further the rights and privileges of His Imperial Majesty and his Imperial Majesty’s loyal, noble Lords and take all actions necessary to protect these rights and privileges and the interests of the Empire of Man, and further declare that while I assume the leadership, my son Lord James George Suffolk will assume the Chairmanship and Monsieur Bartholomew Clinton will serve as the Vice chancellor of this Most Honourable Loyalist Party. It has been resolved that our Loyalist Party shall rest on the following foundations:

1. In order to reduce the cost of administration in his Imperial Majesty’s Government, transfer of administrative liabilities to his Imperial Majesty’s loyal, noble Lords.

2. In order to ensure the continuation of order and efficiency in his Imperial Majesty’s loyal forces, ascertainment of exclusive encouragement concerning knighthood, to the noble bloodlines of his Imperial Majesty’s loyal, noble Lords.

3. In order to release his Imperial Majesty’s Government from the burden and costs of collection, allocation of taxes collected from his Imperial Majesty’s noble lords, prior to the collection of such taxes, to the local estates of such Lords, under their supervision, to ensure the exponential growth of prosperity in the lands of the Empire.

4. In order to protect the physical and mental wellbeing, economic development and trade of the common subjects of his Imperial Majesty and release them of the burdens of political obligations and liabilities, ascertainment of exclusive encouragement of encumberment of such obligations and liabilities to his Imperial Majesty’s noble Lords.

5. In order to increase the prosperity and development of the lands under the Empire, creation of work opportunities, with or without compensations, for those of lesser blood, with methods such as import of said work or said workers or acquisition of the same.

6. In order to release his Imperial Majesty’s Government from the burden, liability, obligation and costs of implementing codes or statutes concerning actions, transactions, deeds, obligations, liabilities or any conduct regarding any occurrence, caused by any party, encumberment of such burdens, obligations and liabilities to his Imperial Majesty’s noble Lords, for jurisdictions they art burdened and privileged to manage.

We will be following the said platform in his Imperial Majesty’s service and it will be our pleasure to wholeheartedly welcome the loyalists of this realm to our ranks, to further serve this glorious Empire of Man, with any means necessary.

“I wanted simply to evaluate and monitor the actions of the nobility in order that only the best are tasked to guide the Emperor’s common-folk, not have some numpties be given extreme influential power. This annoys me, it shows off our common Lords in poor light.” complains Renhalt in-lieu of this Political announcement.

Albert BrusselsAlderman of Belvitz, reads the parchment he had received regarding the new party. He struggled to understand, but came to a conclusion with himself.

So, i’s all in favor of the Empire, an’ the Empire’s well-being, so long as you’s get power and elected into positions? Every single peasant in our Empire’s loyal t’it. T’ones that aren’t, well, Norland made t’example to show what happens. I see no point in this, rather than a blind chase for power... But ‘ey!
