Silver_State 75 Share Posted November 27, 2018 The silence of the Eternal Library, long stripped of many of its more wondrous writings by raiders past, is nearly deafening. A thousand books, though, still wait in neat arrangement upon its many shelves, waiting sometimes centuries for their next avid reader. In the depths of the library, deep within old governmental archives, sits a rather different sight. On a marble pedestal, the only pedestal in the Library, a book that must be a millennia old rests next to an ink bottle and quill. While its cover has been redone in white leather, adorned with the image of an ‘aheral looking out from a stone tower, the first pages within nearly crumble as they are turned. There is no title that can be found on the outside of the book, for there is no mistaking what this tome represents. The curious have little choice but to open the book, and on its first page, cracked, ancient, obviously repaired through delicate means over the centuries, in nearly illegible cursive to the untrained eye, The Bloodline Archive The written record of pure families within Haelun'or. The purpose of the Mali'aheral is within the maehr'sae hiylun'ehya. Our philosophy stems both from our minds, and our blood. Silver elves take heed: for the recording of one's family ensures the continuance of our people's health. Scribe your lineage for all to know, and ensure our prosperity for all eternity. The second page, however, is much newer – in fact, it was written no earlier than the collapse of Haelun’or to the September Prince. A crisp, white sheet, with silver font outlined in red. puerithn Talonnii’thilln The list of Silver’s proven bloodlines, that we may never falter in our purpose again. Let those written within find eternity, and let those unnamed strive to be written. Acal’elor Astóre Elervathar Elibar’acal El’siol Maeyr’onn Sullas Telperion Uradir Visaj An inkwell sits next to the book, filled with black pigment and within, a quill. Its purpose is unmistakable, for behind the new page rests many ancient dozens, some too worn to read. Each denotes their bloodline’s name, family tree, origins and traits – and there are many empty sheets beckoning. Spoiler So, as this implies, it’s the bloodline archive. Anyone and everyone is free to write a post on their family, and that will increase the odds of your bloodline being on the ‘grandfathered in list’, the second page we have here. What that will mean is that anyone that plays a family member of yours from then on won’t need to go through the culture exams to be deemed pure. As said just above this spoiler, write down the name, origins, traits, and we recommend a screenshot from FamilyEcho – a great service we like to use to make family trees. Ankan 2875 Share Posted November 27, 2018 Visaj “High standards lead to Purity.” Family Tree: Spoiler Traits: Spoiler A Visaj generally has blonde or silver blonde hair, blue eyes and a sharp jaw line. They stand at around 6 feet, but can go from 5’11” to 6’2”. They speak with a soft voice, preferring not to shout or scream. Physical appearance: Spoiler A Visaj is always well dressed and always has tamed hair, believes in high standards they try to look their best, some may call this vanity, but a Visaj would call it barbarism for a Mali’aheral to be dressed in a wild fashion. Personality/Beliefs: Spoiler Visajs follow elmaehr’sae hiylun’ehya to the letter, they sit in the conservative spectrum of politics, generally disliking and distrusting Liberals, especially since the Laethis Sohaership the Visajes have grown increasingly distrusting of liberals, although they do not persecute them, at least not physically, since they view violence as a petty tool of the Valah. Visajes are also highly narcissistic in their nature, they’re also very competitive wanting to surpass any rival; A phrase coined by Lucius “Competition is what moves elcihi.” Etymology: Spoiler The word Visaj comes from a lisp of Vihai, meaning whisper in elvish. This was due to a distant ancestor’s parents being closely related. Despite efforts to return to the old spelling the name Visaj catched on in later generations making it the de facto name of the family. Faewilds 218 Share Posted December 1, 2018 Sul’Sumana “Knowledge, and Purity, always shine brightly” Family Tree Spoiler Physical Traits, and Appearance Spoiler A Sul’Sumana Stands roughly around Six feet tall, a normal trait to this blood line is blue eyes, and silvery white hair. While slim in build, this does not make them weak or frail. Their skin is that of a fairer tone, being paler than other Mali’Aheral. Personality Spoiler The Sul’Sumana family believes in helping others when ever they see the chance. They are kind and and gently of hearted. While this is true they, can and will protect their own family with great vigor. In social settings they can be slightly shy, until they get to know you. Beliefs Spoiler The family believe on upholding Knowledge and purity above all else. They also believe that helping others is an important part of life, striving to be a shining example of protection. While this is a core part of the Sul’Sumana belief they mostly tend to find themselves studying, or learning any bit of knowledge that is available to them. History Spoiler The Sul’Sumana family had dwindled down to only two remaining members. They met their unfortunate fate during the Mordksov incident back on Axios leaving behind a single son and heir to the name. After several years on his own, and finally resurfacing back on Atlas, the son has taken to rebuilding the family name bit by bit, improving upon its old foundations and re branding them under the crest of the phoenix as to signify they shall be reborn. ThatWeirdGirl 432 Share Posted December 1, 2018 \ Soulheart “Our Honor is Our Legacy.” Family Tree Spoiler WIP Physical Traits and Appearance Spoiler The Soulheart line has a duality of sorts, with two main lines called the Mordecaians and the other known as the Laurenians. The Mordecaians often are pale, with hair ranging from the palest of blondes to stark white. Their eyes match with pale hues of gray, blue and green. They often have heavy, bulky builds and are rather tall at 6’2 to 6’5, prone to issues such as arthritis due to their often massive bodies. Furthermore they tend to be soldiers, leaving many scarred and wounded. The less than sane of this line that are outsiders to the silver state occasionally are seen with tattoos. The Laurenians tend to have darker shades of blonde hair, though none dark enough to be deemed impure. Their eyes are also seen in darker greens and blues, even a rare gold or purple being known to appear. They are note quite as tall as their Mordecaian kin at 6’ to 6’2 as the average, though many bear slender, elegant builds and the vast majority would rather remain indoors to study than venture onto a battlefield. Personality Spoiler Both lines have a few things in common, an overbearing sense of pride and honor and an undying hatred for the other line. Both would happily dismiss the other as not part of the family, a bunch of honorless brutes or cowards depending on which one you ask. The Mordecaians are the soldiers, strict with a sense of duty and loyalty. A Modecaian without a cause is truly lost, and many would go to extremes to find a new one should they lose their first. Quite a few have been involved in darker pursuits as a result, the father of the line even forming a cult devoted to the fallen archaengul himself. The saner members of this line otherwise have been known to be fantastic soldiers, serving for many decades. The Laurenians are the calmer, warmer line of the Soulhearts. The mother of their line was a benevolent woman, known for encouraging her kin to seek knowledge rather than bloodshed. As a contrast to the Mordecaians, a few have devoted themselves to Aeriel, though even fewer have become ascended themselves. Beliefs Spoiler To a Soulheart, honor is everything. A promise made on one’s honor must not be broken, willingly or not. To break such a promise would bring great shame to oneself as well as the family, and many of Soulhearts have spent years in a state of self flagellation or even killed themselves in the aftermath. It should be noted the Mordecaians hold the lion’s share of suicides for this reason. History Spoiler The Soulheart family drama is a complex one that is rarely spoken of, and the schism that divided the family so dramatically is noted as a great shame by many. One can only assume what happened, based off off the apparent opposites of the two lines and the large number of family members that seem to have died in the same year. Lirinya 4021 Share Posted March 13, 2019 | The Family of Faeliel | Taelu’sae y lye “Spread learning upon the World” | Family Tree | Spoiler | Appearance | The family of Faeliel have been bred with varying ‘aheral, which has created a stunning array of individuals. Platinum hair to bright blonde are the most common, and green eyes are most often seen. They were a shorter and lithe bunch, with females not ever seeming to reach a height above 5 foot 8, and males rarely seen above 5 foot 10. | Personality/Beliefs | The family of Faeliel are a studious group. For generations, the worth of written knowledge has been encouraged throughout. Each direct child encouraged to pursue life in study, as opposed to anything else. What subject they chose was entirely up to them, assuming it coincided with the current socially acceptable beliefs of the leading family member. Magic was not common within the family, but instead members often spent time reading on the subject, without actually learning it. | Etymology | Faeliel did not translate into any direct elven word, which offered the suggestion that it was simply a name created. It could be that, centuries ago during Aegis, the family paraded under a much more elven-based name. But given the most recent descendants lack of knowledge on the language, it was no surprise that the current name held no meaning. | History | The founding descendent of the Faeliel name broke apart from their main line around the year 1300, 400 years ago. This leaves the current line quite young, with the ‘leading matriarch’ being slightly over 100 years in age. Until the generation of Lorena, the first official child of the name, the history of the family was vague. What they did and where they resided was unknown, but it is assumed that they resided within the wildlands, as opposed to with their kin. Vailor was where the family came to name. With Lorena willing to go about her life without guidance, the elfess raised her standing within the varying community of Al-Wakhara by opening a bookshop. In guidance with her family motto; to spread learning upon the world, the elfess procured both existing and newly written works in a bid to sell and distribute it around the lands. This brought the mali’aheral female some local fame, but it did nothing for her standing with her own kind. -=- Now, her daughter Aurayin bid to do the same. To regain that legacy and popularity lost, as well as attempting to build ties with the existing mali’aheral.
