1_Language_1 1671 Share Posted February 17, 2019 “Unity in Brotherhood” Silverledge Years ago, two men met in battle, and stuck side-by-side afterwards. These two were of different lines; Rutledge and Silverblade. In honor of the undying brotherhood between the Silverblades and the Rutledges, this group will be formed to serve Adria, and only Adria; and while the title of ‘Baron’ is purely titular, the hope-to-be barony will be joint-owned by Rutledge and Silverblade. A name for the ‘barony’ has been settled upon by both lines, Silverledge. A coat of arms was formed in a quaint living space located within Belvitz, its symbols and colors chosen tediously to represent each line’s traits. The pelican vulning, a powerful symbol, represents self-sacrifice, and familial love. Blue, to represent loyalty, loyalty to each other, as well as loyalty to Adria. Gold, to represent generosity. The chevron, representing protection. This group plans to focus on medicine, and training in combat. We plan to do frequent events in order to draw people to fair Adria as well as uplift the day. This group is also a supplement to the Adrian Military. (So if any ET would like to fulfill their event quotas, feel free to drop events on us!) Along with our coat of arms, we currently have two uniforms. You are not required to be in uniform all the time, but it would be nice if you wore it frequently. We also have a hat and helmet variations of the two, one with a hat or without a hat, and one with a helmet and without a helmet. Uniforms might be updated in the future, and you will be notified if a new version is made. This tends to be updated if a better version is made. The one on the left is called our Light Armor, and it’s usually worn for casual patrol. The one on the right is called our Heavy Armor, meant for warclaims and the like. Male Versions Female Versions The mascot/family pet of Silverledge is Reggie the Raccoon, who symbolizes vigilance as he watches over his surroundings. There are only a few requirements that must be met to join. You must not be a sworn enemy of Adria. IE: You cannot be a druid, or a dedicant; nor can you be of Wyvern Fang or its associates. You must pledge fealty or swear an oath to the duke. As well as be ready to convert to the Canonist faith or a denomination of such. In alternative, you may also convert to or already be of a faith that is tolerated in the empire, IE: Imam Rashidun It is strongly recommended you become a citizen of Adria. You must not murder or assault an Adrian, our allies, or any member of Silverledge. Doing so means we will surrender you to Adrian authorities immediately for fair trial. To join, simply drop a letter with the required information filled in, the application is in the spoiler below. Silverledge is partially selective of who it takes in. We’d prefer new players or other people, not Adrians since they are already a part of the amazing experience, but we’ll take either. This group also grows to supplement the Adrian Military. What do you know of, or wish to know of, Adria? OOC Spoiler OOC: So, this is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time. I wanted to create a long-time cozy community of friends, we don’t have to be on LOTC all of the time. I want to create a place where we can all be friends. I wanted to create a memorable experience inside and outside of this group, so maybe we can all walk away from this with good memories. Here’s what I wanted to accomplish for this group. I wanted to create impactful memories on those around me and better the community. I’m talking not only events on LOTC, but I think if you’re comfortable, we can have events outside of LOTC, such as playing other games. I’m not really a social person, but it’s a fun idea! IE: Playing Overwatch or Paladins, or doing bedwars, that kind of stuff! We can even play Pixelmon or Mo’Creatures! People say “The sky’s the limit I wanted to bring more people in, and create interesting roleplay opportunities. I like medic roleplay, and I think that, along with other things, can provide interesting roleplay opportunities. I mean, Adria has its own travelling troubadour. You want to be a musician or actor? You’ll love Timeo! You like PvP? Then come to Adria and try your skill (or luck) against the best PvPer on the server. I wanted to provide a safe environment, whereas some communities can be toxic, I wanted to provide a safe place to go. Let me explain an example of this: In my discord, I’m going to implement the same system that my friend did with his discord. It’s called the Red Card system. If you get caught saying something homophobic, racist, or just bigoted in general, I’m going to give you a ‘Yellow Card’, that’s strike one. If you do it again, you get an ‘Orange Card’, strike two. Your final strike is known as a ‘Red Card’, where I then remove your roles, and isolate you to a temporary time-out channel. When your time is up, you will receive your roles back, and will be started on ‘No Card’. This is going to apply to everyone, but I really hope that we don’t have to get that far. I’d like to build up and help provide for Adria, whether it’s grinding and stuff, or just the simple things. You’d be amazed how small things go far. Even if it’s just roleplay in the tavern! Will you help me create this? I want to have enough people so we can officially start when it’s time for the next map. If we all work together, we can accomplish some pretty cool things.
