THE CHANCELLOR’S REPORT

From the Office of the Lord Palatine of the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska

2nd of Owyn’s Light, 1714

As the years has passed the realm and Crown of Haense still remain strong, war rages over the vast lands of Arcas but alas the tranquility and peacefulness found within our borders still remain preserved and our kingdom’s borders remain safe and secure.

 

However this sense of calm should not lull us into a false sense of security, the Royal Haeseni Army continues to recruit initiates to bolster it ranks and the Lord Palatine would urge all abled bodied men to enlist now, to serve the proud nation we call our home against those who would see it ripped from its roots. The Kingdom rests upon our ideals of a strong military, such as Haense has always had and the Lord Marshal and his officers is to be commended for the recent influx of recruits into the army.

 

Furthermore the chancellery would like to directly address the lack of travellers, settlers and the reduced influx of trade found within Reza and to urge our dear citizens to look to those around. Stretch out a hand to those who wander the roads aimlessly and welcome them into the warm embrace of Haense where they can live in peace and prosper. The Lord Palatine will gladly listen to any suggestions and work with all citizens of Haense who so wishes to assist the administration with bringing new citizens and trade into our grand capital.

 

The Lord Palatine shall within the upcoming Saints weeks conduct a full census of the entirety of the Realm, where all manners of activity shall be monitored and noted down and combined with the noble registries and recently published maps should give the Chancellery sufficient information to carry on it’s work and bring further prosperity to the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska and its people.

 

To conclude this report the Lord Palatine would once more give his appreciation and thanks to his brother and cartographer, Nikolas of Stafyr for drawing the recent published maps of the Realm. The Lord Palatine would also congratulate the recently appointed Palatine Aspirant, Lerald of Vyronov. Who will serve the Crown well and with the utmost diligence.
