Upon the ancient exile of High Pontiff Siegmund, the Synod declared his successor; and now the man returns, claiming his title by right. Temporal politics, namely the War of the Two Emperors, has bled the Church dry. How could men know their way, if the shepherds themselves are blinded with confusion? It is for the preceding reasons that I, Fr. Guy Haas, hereby invoke an ancient right, and call for a council of the Church to be held. This council shall convene with the purpose of settling these most pressing questions facing the Canonist church, the legitimacy of the two claimants to the High Pontiff’s seat, namely Everard and Siegmund. This council shall be convened within the Palace of Varoche, within the neutral and independent Serene Republic of Ves. It shall be held during the month of Owyn’s Light. ((Thursday, 6/13/19, at 7 PM EST)) Invitations to the Council are dispersed to the following parties: Everard V Siegmund The Archdiocese of Curonia The Archdiocese of Jorenus The Archdiocese of Villavia The Patricians of Ves (Observant role) May God save His people.
