We have not asked for these honors, these opportunities, these pure miracles of life that GOD has blessed us with. Great men seem to attract greatness without begging or yearning for such. I write to the public of Haense today, not to gloat, but rather to acknowledge. The great men and women of the House of Kortrevich have not faltered in the entirety of their existence. We have met foe and friend alike, we have donned armor and cloak the same, and we have held blade and quill with grace. This monumental day is christened by the achievement that is like none other. Constructed in a mere Saint’s Day, the grand fortress of Korstadt is now cemented into the scorched earth of Old Reznian lands. It stands as a protector, it stands as a symbol, it stands as a reminder to all beings that we do not falter. We do not fear. We are Kortrevich. We are Haense. In two Saint’s Days, we will face our foes once again. We have toiled through this war, we have waited patiently for our times to strike. We have raised our blades against the scum of Morsgrad, we have held our kin as their life left this world. We have driven our steel deep into pagan hearts, we have driven them out of our lands, and we have shown the world that Canonist men will persevere no matter what obstacle may stand opposed.
