Citizens of Helena!

I am Dax Illiquin, sole proprietor of the Dragon’s Rest Tavern in the hub of our beautiful city. Some of you see me as just your friendly barkeep always ready to fill your drink or you have known me as the formerly known Bard’s Ward Liveryman. I have been a citizen of Helena for the better part of ten years and I am proud to call it my home. Today, I am running for the position of Senator to further progress Helena’s interests and vision.

As your Senator, I will represent the voice of the people. I will provide jobs to the populace by working diligently with my colleagues at the Treasury Department to ensure work orders are made and delivered to the people to promote economic growth in our ever growing city. My service to you will bring bold new ideas to our city.

My time in the military has been short only serving for five years, but they have been eventful. Many battles that left our city besieged and locked in stagnation kept us from our progression. I stood shoulder to shoulder with our boys in red and fought alongside with them. We conducted special operations missions to siphon the food sources from our enemies and fill our bellies to fight our enemy at full strength.

In dire times, before the siege of Reza I put down my mug and my rags and stuck my hands in the mud as every other citizen did to defend our greatest ally, Haense. I refuse to sit idly behind a desk and give orders while others work tirelessly for mere scraps. When hard times come down upon us, you shall not fear for I will be there with you, throwing down my pen in exchange for a pick to support our brilliant city.

Voting for me, Dax Illiquin, would be a vote for the people. A vote for you.

Patriot. Entrepreneur. Servant to the People.

Wilheim Othan quietly taps his war-time poster, sporting an awkward face once he heard that a Dark Elf was running for the senate of a human city. “I think.. I think I need to talk to my commander..” The young man gulped, scrolling up his wartime poster to go talk to the commander about the cultural impacts that would come from having a Dark Elf in a human senate.
