Cheap Housing Available!

Hello everyone. I come to you today with a bargain you can't possibly refuse! The city of Tur'Evelon is offering good, fairly sized houses for all races for as low as 1000 minas! The reason behind the extremely low price is that Tur'Evelon isn't protected yet as it is still hugely under construction, and I recommend that you buy a house here before it gets protected and the prices get doubled or tripled! Be aware, that if something happens to your house, such as griefing, it is promised to be fixed to the way it was before, free of charge. This is a minor inconvenience at the moment, but the benefits greatly outweigh the risks when you could get a house that would normally be worth 8000 minas in Oren for 1200 here! Here is an example of the quality of the houses that are available:

Human- about 7 houses available for 1200, 2 for 1500, and 1 to be discussed

^worth 1200 (would be 8000 or more in Al'Khazar)

Elven- running out, but more to be constructed soon. 1 for 1000, 2 for 1500, 1 for 2000, and a five story mansion for 8000

^worth 2000 (would be 10000 or more in Laurelin)

Dwarven- dwarven area still under construction, so for now, only caves are available.

^worth 600, owner will get free home when dwarven area opens (unknown price)

Orc- about 4 for 800 and 1 for 1600

^worth 800 (unknown price)

If not for the fact that I am happily housed I would be interested in living here! It is nice that you customized houses for the races, I must visit this town someday.

I'm not sure if you can sell Unprotected houses.

You can, so long as you're upfront about the status when you sell it. I bought an unprotected apartment at ark's end. I grew to like the place, then I grew to hate and despise the griefers who'd come by and smash my glowstone lights, or pick the coal ore out of my walls I decorated my room with.

Eventually I got so pissed off, there were monies pooled together, and I donated and got the place protected. Haven't done too too many changes since then, but man is it good to be able to have a safe home base. Also when I lock a door, I don't come back to see a 2 block high hole dug next to it, with which some idjit bypassed the door.

I made my roof out of coal blocks and if they were destroyed i woulda been q.q then D:< but in all seriousness to nice looking houses! and great prices. I have a recommendation also give a few houses for free to trusted enough people who will work as your "guards" so there is always someone in the area to catch grievers. Also, make sure and lock everyone's chest or get a donator to lock them. This way everyone's important stuff is safe. with these two things i doubt a griefer could do more than break a few blocks before getting agitated everything is locked then getting caught by a guard sneaking up. I recommend a tower in the center of town, nothing too elaborate just enough for one man/woman to sit and survey the entire town at once.

I'd be willing to buy a house! But only if I know that it'll be under portection soon. And do they come with locked chests?

If you buy a house, you get a locked double chest free, but after that, each double chest is an additional 200 minas. Also we RARELY worry about griefers, because of how out of the way our city is. I think my house has been griefed one time in the past two months, and the only thing that happened was someone broke two of my glass, so not a big deal.

Alright! I'll buy one. Now, how exactly do I get this done?

I'll buy the moment it is protected.

I am interested in purchasing one. Could you provide directions to travel there from Alkazar?

Yes, first travel to Laurelin docks. Then, head to the elven mine. When at its entrance, you should notice a very small farm plot next to it. Go a few blocks south from there and you should notice a wooden diagonal road heading southeast. Follow that road to a cobblestone bridge with cobble stone arches on the side. Follow that cobble road to the front gates of our city! Also, I will be online around 8:00 EST, so make sure you are here by then.
