Earlier this Saint’s Day, two Goblins attempted to assassinate our King Sigismund II, yet their attempt was unsuccessful. Through the grace of GOD, and the diligence of the Surgeon-General Demaris and Otto the Tarcharman, the King’s wounds were treated and he is expected to make a full recovery.

 

As many of you are aware, the attackers escaped after the deed, fleeing from the city before the soldiers of the Brotherhood were able to apprehend them. Search parties were deployed, emissaries sent to the capital city of every friendly nation on Arcas. Many from Helena assisted in our search for these attackers, as well as members of other nations. To those who aided us, our Kingdom is grateful.

 

These goblins were captured by the Silver State of Haelun’or, who graciously handed the prisoners unharmed to soldiers of the Brotherhood. Their generosity shall not be forgotten soon, not by me nor by our King. The prisoners were escorted to Reza, where after a short trial, they were summarily executed by firing squad.

 

This situation could not have been resolved as quickly as it was without the diligence and bravery of the soldiers of the Brotherhood. To this end, I would personally thank every Brother that aided in apprehending the attackers and in the following execution.

As the goblins were pinned to the wall like marionettes, a soldier gently examined the new mechanical bows, brought by traders to Reza just that year. “Vyr my new favourite friend”, Abram was heard creepily whispering to his, as he pulled a bolt from Kub’s rib cage.

Sulraell’s eyes flickered sporadically within their sockets, his long, elongated digits gently clasping around the missive which held the good news. Rays of bright sunlight reflected delicately upon the paper, the opulence of the Citadel towering grandly before his figure as he softly mumbled to himself.
