The “Zakils” are a specific bloodline of ‘pure’ Gorkils who can reliably trace their ancestry back to the great Mogroka’Gorkil. The first of the line, born in Anthos, Zabgub’Gorkil was Mogroka’s grandkub. They are a very proud bloodline with strong ties to the Gorkil clan. Each kub is taught the history of the Gorkil clan at a very early age and is expected to uphold the clan’s values to the highest standard as they believe to be the representation of the “perfect Gorkil.” (A clan which they believe to be the representation of a “perfect Orc.”)

 

Values

”Zakils”  hold a very specifc set of values very highly, those values being.

 

Purism: A Zakil MUST be green, it is the original and pure colour of a Gorkil and if any Zakil is born in a different colour the father must sacrifice them without telling a soul they even had them as this is a stain of dishonor in the bloodline. Many believe a different colored kub is a sign from Mogroka himself that they must do better in their life. Additionally this bloodline of Orcs will have a slight distain to any Gorkil who is not green. 

 

History: As the representation of the perfect Gorkil each Zakil must learn the history of Gorkil and must be willing to teach it to both their offspring AND other clan members that are not in the direct bloodline of Mogroka.

 

Strategy and political power: Zakils are expected to take on the duty of administration within the Uzg, they are not power hungry, but as the representative of the perfect Orc it is their job to influence the Uzg as much as they can. 

 

Names: ’Zakils’ are called Zakils because of their first name. Every Orc of Mogroka’s direct line MUST start with the letter Z before anything else. The closer the name sounds like Zabgub the higher the expectations are for that kub. It is highly recommended  for fathers to not name their kub after Zabgub unless they have had a vision that the kub will turn out to be a great leader. 

 

Gorkil over everyone: Any Zakil must remain a Gorkil for life, they must upkeep the clan values. Should a “Zakil” leave Gorkil for any reason they should be called by a human name and killed on sight.

 

Notable Zakils: 

Zabgub’Gorkil:

Two Time Targoth, Three time Wargoth, Kheshig, Died in battle as an Elder.

Zabgub was the first Orc in the bloodline to have a name that started with a ‘z’ he was also the longest living Zakil and is what every offspring is expected to mirror. He was a loud, proud and drug addicted Gorkil who was deeply zealous.

 

Zagruck’Gorkil

Targoth, Wargoth, Died in an honor klomp. Zagruck took the pride a little too far and it got him killed, regardless Zagruck influenced the nation in a time where the Orcs prospered and is remembered fondly among the bloodline. 

 

Known, living Zakils:

Zakils love to mate, they see reproducing as the number one way to keep the bloodline strong and as such have had many kubs. It is common for Zakils to go off for years of meditation so they know best how to serve the Uzg when they return, as such sometimes there are few Zakils in the Uzg at a time:
