sergisala 3451 Share Posted April 17, 2020 THE JOSEPHITES: AN INTERVIEW WITH JASON WOODWARD 8th of Godfrey’s Triumph, 1764 Edward Williams and Jason Woodward would be sitting at a table in The Palvion Restaurant, a business owned by Jason Woodward himself. Edward would then start shuffling some papers before getting ready to write down all the answers given by Jason in the following interview. -Edward Williams: “Thank you for offering us an interview today, Mister Woodward.” -Jason Woodward: “Oh, please, don’t unnecessarily compliment me, Mister Williams. The pleasure is all mine.” he would chuckle “Let’s cut to the chase.” -Edward Williams: “Okay, I will start with my first question: Why do you think you have thrived in Helena?” -Jason Woodward: “I’m not sure. Maybe it’s because I have worked hard to earn it here.” -Edward Williams: “Do you enjoy your current business? This restaurant, I mean.” -Jason Woodward: “Aye, yes. I do love it. I’ve always loved to cook.” -Edward Williams: “That’s very good to hear, Mister Woodward.” he would make a pause “Do you think that the Josephite Economic Freedom that can be appreciated in the streets of Helena is very important in order to achieve having a prosperous business such as the one you have here?” -Jason Woodward: “Definitely. I honestly don’t think I could have opened this restaurant without the Economic Freedom that the Josephites defend.” -Edward Williams: “I see...and tell me, what’s your opinion regarding Free Trade and Protectionism?” -Jason Woodward: “Well, I do think that Protectionism is a very old concept for our modern empire. I don’t think that the imperial government should prevent the citizens to freely trade between each other like the everardines do. As the Josephites say, Free Trade is definitely the way to go! -Edward Williams: “Interesting. Now an ideological question: Do you think that the Josephite Progressivism is better than the Everardine Conservatism?” -Jason Woodward: “Yes, because Progressivism is what makes us all move forward. Without imperial reforms and progress Oren wouldn’t be the strong and powerful Imperial State that nowadays is.” -Edward Williams: “Wise words, Mister Woodward.” he would nod in approval “Also, would you say that the modern and constitutional empire that we live in nowadays is better than the absolutist and decrepit empire that we had half a century ago?” -Jason Woodward: “Of course, the current Empire is far better than the old regimes. Especially, because as you say it is now a constitutional monarchy. We no longer have a monarch with absolute and unlimited powers handling all the issues of the nation. For instance, now we have the House of Commons, a chamber elected by the people with real legislative powers. I don’t think that would have been imaginable in the former imperial regimes. And I say all this as a proud supporter of His Imperial Majesty and as a defender of his imperial authority.” -Edward Williams: “Finally, if you had to vote for a political faction in the upcoming national election, who would you vote for: Everardines or Josephites?” -Jason Woodward: “That’s an easy one! I would proudly vote for the Josephites! THE JOSEPHITES “For the dignity of all.”
Caranthir_ 2533 Share Posted April 17, 2020 “A propaganda piece no more newsworthy than the paper with which I wipe my --“ the Everardine-affiliated priest cut off, flushing red as the nuns began to giggle. Certainly, the wine had gotten to him at this late hour.
argonian 14254 Share Posted April 17, 2020 “ ‘Would you say that the modern and constitutional empire that we live in nowadays is better than the absolutist and decrepit empire that we had half a century ago?’ ” Conrad repeats incredulously, "Holy mother of leading questions, who hired this hack of an interviewer?”
Aplex 115 Share Posted April 17, 2020 Aplex Cenobia starred dumbfounded at the piece of propaganda ”The Josephites must be desperate. None of that sounds like something Jason Woodward would say, perhaps the writer should actually write down what Jason said next time in stead of some polished piece of political propaganda. How shameful!”
Borin 7646 Share Posted April 17, 2020 “Da, I’ve heard that guy talk and these words are far too big and competent for his filthy Josephite mouth..” a good Everardine Barclay, nay, good Everardine Haenseman comments.

Wyrvun 1808 Share Posted May 13, 2020 Xinan quietly scoffs as the missive is brought to his desk in Asimu’lei ”Everadine, Josephites. Valah are Valah, close minded and cruel. My followers will never have a place in the homeland of our traditional enemy.” The Kharajyr sets it down in a pile labeled ‘Skathach’ before he continues on with his day.
