A small pamphlet is posted in many of the settlements in Arcas, it has a simple message

 

 

 

 

Greetings Adventurers and Explorers, my name is Juan Salinas Ruiz Villalpando de Ponce de Lyons

You probably do not know my name but my family has for several generations made it their business to provide the finest maps to the descendants

I have traveled all over the realm

I have slogged through the jungles of the Queen’s isle and visited it’s many ruined temples

I have gazed on the hills and glens of Haense

I have traversed the Heartland of the Empire and the desert of Khorvassa

If you wish to see the other places I have been I have compiled for you a great atlas and guidebook to Arcas

It will make your travels in these lands much easier.

 

 

The rest of the pamphlet consists of directions on where you can buy this magnificent work

So I finally got most of the map explored, I think there’s one or two small islands I might have missed and the big island in the north is not yet accessible for players so I decided to publish my journeymap files like this

You don’t need to pay my character to use these files

You can RP having this map however you want, you can ignore that you suddenly know where everything is, you can say you’re using the Lyons Atlas, or you can say you just have a great knowledge of the world

Also when using Journeymap be sure to turn the radar off to prevent metagaming
