THE PUBLIC NEUTRALITY ORDINANCE

WHEREAS, the Ministry of the Interior has recently noticed that a great amount of imperial citizens are holding or plan to hold in the near future political campaign meetings in government-owned buildings.

 

WHEREAS, the Ministry of the Interior finds that ensuring the neutrality of public spaces is paramount in order to hold a fair election of any type.

 

WHEREAS, it is the duty of the Minister of the Interior “to manage the lands of the Crown as well as all public lands, as both the representative of the government and highest administrator.” (ORC 601.061)

 

BE IT ENACTED, that during the campaign of an election of any type all political meetings and rallies are forbidden to be held in any government-owned property of the Holy Orenian Empire (e.g.: Varoche Hall), with the exception of political debates among the candidates. 

 

BE IT ENACTED, that violators of this ordinance shall be charged with Trespassing (ORC 203.061).
