The Underground Masquerade 2 - Why is everyone dead?

From deep within the Underground, below all of Brandybrook, deeper than the largest burrow, there came a bloodcurdling shriek. For many nights now, if one listened closely, one could hear moans, as if some being was in great pain, but never once was the source of the sounds seen. A few may have suspected the Underground, known for it’s less-than-excellent reputation, frequent wild parties and the occasional murder. Indeed, the manager of the Underground, Teric Ratfoot, had not been seen for weeks, months even. It was a strange situation, all right, and it was time to take action. With the Inferi right at Brandybrook’s door step, it wasn’t like they needed another problem to deal with. And so an anonymous group of halflings came together, and decided to rally those around them, and take action.

((There is no specified group of halflings, if you’d like to claim that you were one of them, feel free.))

[!] A missive, pasted on the doors of most halflings of Brandybrook. [!]

“Rally! Gather, to protect Brandybrook from this threat from the inside. It is imperative that this threat is dealt with as quickly as possible, so that we may return to protecting Arcas from the demon invasion. Rally, so that we may protect those we care about, those we love. Rally, so that we may return to our peaceful way of life, happy and content.
Rally, on Snow’s Maiden, so that we may repair the leaking boat that is Brandybrook.”

((At Wednesday, 1:00 PM EST, the event will be held. Rally at the Underground, and venture into the deep.))

After having seen the Revenant like creature outside of the Underground entrance, Isalie prepares herself to investigate. Grabbing her shovel and Thains hat, shes determined to do all she can to keep Brandybrook safe. She also hopes she can help the poor creature she had seen, twisted in pain and suffering. Of course, her priority are her people, but the healer in her is never quiet, always wanting to mend others that are broken.
