Vote Sir Sigmar Baruch, 1780

A RETURN TO POLITICS

After taking a session break to serve as his grandson’s regent, Sir Sigmar Baruch is eager to come out of retirement and once again serve the Holy Orenian Empire and his home province of Haense. Sigmar is a veteran of multiple wars including the War of Two Emperors, the Three months War, the Rubern War, and the Scyfling Invasion. Sigmar has dedicated his life to politics and the improvement of his home province, serving 5 years as Lord Kastellan and 20 years as Lord Speaker of the Royal Duma, he also reformed the position of Royal Envoy after retiring from speakership. During his tenure as Lord Speaker he passed many reforms and increased the efficiency of the Royal Duma, laying some of the foundation for what the institution is now today. He has written numerous bills to improve haeseni infrastructure and governance and has focused on preserving haeseni tradition and culture. Sigmar served two terms in the House of Commons as an Everardine, during which he did everything in his power to stand up for what he believed in. Sigmar is running independently this time to avoid party politics; he hopes to focus on the more important issues and vote the way he believes rather than voting with the pack.

POLICY PLATFORM

Small Businesses - Sigmar Baruch wishes to further expand on the recently passed Imperial Business Funding Act by adding small business subsidies as a way to support and boost the merchant working class.

“Personally, I shall not vote for someone that has spoke ill upon my family by calling us something we are not. Along with having your old man tantrums within the duma hall if something doesn’t go your way or you do not like it. Though since you’re running for something that’s Imperial that also has more Imperials in it then sure you can go bother them with your outbursts. This is the only time I shall vote for a Baruch in something.” Stefan Vyronov says letting out a sigh.
