The Crash

Late one evening in Brandybrook, a loud, resounding CRASH was heard coming from the beach, near the Spicy Shrimp. Were anyone to investigate, the beach would be littered with bits and pieces of a mangled ship that had crashed into the beach. It clearly had taken quite a beating before arriving at the village of the wee, just narrowly missing the already docked vessel. All of the crew seems to have already abandoned the destroyed vessel--all that was left of it was some broken driftwood, cloth, and various useless bits ‘n bobs, some of which are marked with strange, foreign symbols.

 

Perhaps finding the crew of the destroyed ship may lead to some hints as to its origin.

Greta walks along the beach, surveying the shipwreck ”Dear lord... we’ve got another one, haven’t we?”

Boris stared at the ship for a few moments, before shrugging and clunking away. Broken ships held no interest to him, only whole ones.

 

Not far away, the spectral figure of Teric Ratfoot looked curiously on at the ship, searching it’s contents for drugs as soon as he and the ship were alone.

Upon hearing the CRASH, Taurin speed-walks over to the beach, fearing the worst. Once he gets there, however, and sees the Shrimp still intact, he decides to check out the wreckage later and walks away.

“Alice, this is the second ship we’ve wrecked arriving. I’m going to be in debt!” Edward yelled from the hilltop, guzzling more beer.

Maggot wakes from his sleep in the Spicy Shrimp hungover, scrambling to the deck to scan the wreckage irritably before grumbling and going back to bed.
