Regarding Accusations Made

To His Majesty and the people of Haense,

Recently, in a widely distributed polemic against certain actions of the Haeseni government, the author, Oskar Wick, made the claim that heresy was rampant among the Haeseni Royal Army and that even the King and Queen are heretics. I quote:

Oskar Wick On Haeseni Freedom:

"For indeed, we need not look very far into the past to find belief structures held by the government and guard force under the Koeng that have constituted heresy: namely their stance on otherworldly spirits. Why was the entirety of the guard force not hanged, along with the queen, the king, and any other individual who espoused agreement in allowing the movement and passage of ghosts within the land?"

As Pontifical Legate to the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska, I feel it is my duty here to clarify to the Kingdom as a whole that neither the Government, the Army, nor His or Her Majesty have deviated from the Canonist faith in the slightest regarding their handling of spectral apparitions, nor in any other ways I have been made aware of.

There are, to my knowledge, no heretics whatsoever among the Aulic Government or the Royal Army. In the interests of avoiding scandal among the faithful, I demand that Oskar Wick recant his slanderous statements made against the aforementioned, and I encourage the Aulic Government to take whatever action it deems fit to seek justice for the insult to His Majesty's honour.

Regards,

Ailred Cardinal Reinmar.

A cup of home-grown tea would waft steam upwards, carrying the delectable, nutty scent into her nose as she examined the contents of her mailbox that she had retrieved.

"Oh, Oskar..." She'd sigh, dreading the days to come.

"One could argue that Iblees used armies of undead creatures and to permit ghostly entities or any other undead beast entry to the city would be to grant Iblees entry too." Remarked Hubert.

"Unless in times of Saintly apparitions to guide the Faithful from the throes of death, the dead should remain amongst the dead, and ushered back to their slumber." murmured a green coated scholar, a hand scratching at his pale hair while aqua eyes looked over at the clouds.
