A Challenge of Strength and Stamina

Norlandic Triathlon

  

 

With its peaking mountains and unruly sea, navigating Norland is no easy task. Only those with strength and stamina have the ability to conquer Norland’s rugged terrain. As such, we, the Queen’s Committee, would like to provide all those who embody these traits to take part in Norland’s first Triathlon competition.

 

The competition will involve three parts: running on foot, swimming, and racing on horseback. 

 

The event will take place in Elysium, but all those of the Realm are welcome to take part. The route for the race will be marked; using shortcuts is strictly prohibited and will grant immediate disqualification!

 

Participants will begin in the Maple Forest on foot, then alternate between swimming and running before mounting their horse at the base of the mountain range across Elysium’s banks (horses and saddles will be provided, but participants will be liable for both). Competitors will then find their way to the peak of the indicated mountain. The first place winner will receive a grand prize of 75 mina, as well as a custom item, while second and third place winners will receive medals to signify their placement on the podium. If a member of the North Guard, Rangers, or Crows wins the competition, they will receive an additional 50 mina prize.

 

To sign up, one must include their name and the nation, settlement, or charter they represent.

As previously stated, the Triathlon will take place in Elysium - all those who plan to take part must meet at the edge of the Maple Forest, where the race will begin.
