Renee de Falstaff's features paled at hearing the news. . The young woman hadn't known of this at all. She had no knowledge of her cousin being executed, not even that he was imprisoned. Her hands trembled as she read over the missive, her cousin had been executed. A small whimper escaped her, tears flooding her eyes as she threw the paper down. She didn't want to believe Daniel was dead but it seemed she had no choice. Why had no one told her?

Major Erik Othaman would grip the missive tightly in his hands as he paced about his office seething in anger.

"They betrayed my country. They betrayed my comrades. But more importantly, they betrayed me. God show mercy on these fools, for I shall not."

Giselle let's out a huff upon hearing the news. Crossing her arms, the woman's eyebrows pinch down. "A shame his family didn't care... horrible folk, really." Comment's the Palmer to her cousin, Megan.

"Lady Flastaff seemed to have her mind wrapped around other things when we ran into her, wouldnt you say? Im not one to judge a family by one of its memebers but i belive its safe to do so in this case, ma fleur" Megan arched a brow whilst scofting, sipping at the wineglass she held between her digits

A lone de Falstaff girl sits her the family countryside home after having heard of her treacherous family. Cosette purses her lips, a frown forming upon her visage as she hears news of her dead cousin. Not only does the girl fear for her family's reputation but for her own, she had worked hard to make a name for herself within the social season at hand rather than only taking from that of her family's title. "How could they."  she scoffs at the idea of her brothers and cousin betraying her and the empire she so loved.

The aging countess dowager sat in Whitcombe manor- unlike her daughter, no tears fell down her face. "The weak fall, the strong survive..." She murmured to herself. "He was weak."

Shortly after her return home to Dobrov, Lady Milena Carrion received word of Daniel's execution through quieted murmurs that echoed through the castle's resonating halls. Although they were hardly anything more than brisk acquaintances, the news troubled her so. That eve, she penned letter to her friend, Miss Emerentia Kovachev – wife of Daniel, and attached a chrysanthemum alongside it.

"To Miss Emerentia Kovachev, my dear friend,

Word has spread quickly, and I presume you know the further contents of this letter– thus, I solemnly send my condolences for what you have had to endure with so new a marriage. I cannot say these sentiments I give out to your husband, for his treacherous acts, but instead for you as a widow far too young. One could have never imagined Daniel to be a traitor!

You are always welcome into the palace or to write to me of your troubles. As a friend, a companion, I shall never wish you to be alone in your mourning. Please write to me when you've the opportunity, yet feel in no rush with all that has occurred to you and in so short of timespan. Be prudent, Eme, for good things do always come.

Your friend,

Lady Milena Ipera Carrion"

Ser Gustaven von Halsfield  laughs at news of the recent event, "The Empire prosecuting somebody for a crime without giving them a trial? Ah yes, it's one of their favorite past time activities! Murder. That's what it was, murder; this wasn't a justified death in the slightest."

The Rt. Honorable The Lord Halcourt SCJ JD SSE would shake his head and roll his shoulders at the missive, "I suppose he was guilty of a war crime; forfeiting the right to trial."
