(Unrevealed Mural, Various Artists, ca. 1813)

The first piece being revealed is a mural created and provided as a joint work between the Chen and Watanabe families, two of the most important families in the city of Yong Ping. Their collaboration on this work is a symbol for the close bond and unity between Li-Ren and Oyashiman people, despite all past differences.

The second piece is a yet unknown and unrevealed Oyashiman work which has been venerated for years as a symbol of their people’s culture. It is sure to be a surprise when the museum opens!

Come visit Yong Ping today!

An old Oyashiman Daimyo, long past fallen his prime, reads the notice.

Utter shame washes over himself as he reads the false words. He contemplates the blood that his family and masters have spilt ensuring Oyashima's freedom from the yoke of the Li-Ren, before his mind is forced to realise his culture being paraded by the oppressors.

“The deepest rivers flow slowly.” remarks the fallen lord, the now Ronin.

Once child, now a man -- the Oyashiman prostrated himself before a sword altar. In the years he had spent away from his homeland, reduced to a pretender and deprived of lordly birthright by those who usurped the Shogunate, Lord Susanoo had been his succor. The raging tempest drove him, and once more did he look to the Kami patron of his people for guidance once more. Ink wet the page, and for the first time in years, Yorihide remembered Arashi.

how foolish we are

having set our swords aside

our people made slaves
