Disappointed, the priest would return to the chapel in the Kortrevich county of Jerovitz to make his prayers. He would recall his frequent tedious travels to the Metropolitanate of Providence, the heart-break in the sight of plagued Haeseni peasants as they beg for mercy for their malnourished children, the possibility of pagans banditing the roads. He would ponder for a moment, if the pain is worth it if their very own cardinals will defile an entrance to a sanctuary of Godan with politics.
