StrongBear 1239 Share Posted July 4, 2021 Within the chambers at Halstaig, Elias O'Rourke, found himself sitting alone in silence upon hearing the death of an old friend, one he hasn't seen or spoken to since youth years, but none the less, the young man lost another one he once knew. He could faintly hear his wife, Iduna Anne and their child Theodosia from the floor below, but he remained in bed, looking down to his slowly healing body from the chaos of days prior. libertyybelle 6187 Share Posted July 4, 2021 Somewhere on some beach- a familiar aging lady heard about the news. Looking to a man on her side she shook her head and merely whispered "Rest well, my dear Rhea."
Kholibrii 1211 Share Posted July 4, 2021 Spoiler Do not Metagame any of this information. Any names included, or events would not be known nor would any character know what Natalie is doing. Unlike many of the others within Providence, Natalie Julia did not grieve the woman. No tear was shed, no sadness in the slightest, only worry, and a peaked curiosity. She wasn’t friends with the girl in the slightest, but death should cause any women to grieve. Perhaps her life had hardened her to death, watching everything you care for slip through your fingers while you walk past the people who’s lives you’ve destroyed everyday can do that. Natalie sat at a desk within one of the smaller rooms of her estate. The room was never truly used before now, it was meant to be a children’s bedroom, but those dreams were crushed, it later became a room to keep her chatty pet bird in, yet now that was gone too, the only reminder of the creature being the blood stains across one of the walls. “Does this have to do with your Sister?” She’d ask as she stared at the portrait of Rhea which has been included in the missive sent out by d’Arkent family. “Your death was sudden, were you sticking your nose where it didn’t belong?” She once again asked a question to the portrait, falling silent for a moment as if she was waiting for a response. “Perhaps he or one of his other companions is beginning to go insane.” At that Natalie began to slowly place the little bit of info she had on the case in a folder labeled ‘Rhea’, sliding the thin folder into its place within her desk. Next to enter the drawer were folders with the names of many of Oren’s most popular Socialites and Nobles, names of people many would not dare to touch. At the end came a set of folders with an abundance of material within them, the first had the name ‘Arlo Cooper’ written across the front, it seemed to be filled with the most information, almost needing a second folder. Next came a folder titled ‘Coraline d’Arkent’, then ‘Brandt’, and finally ‘Inui Ba’ikana’ which happened to be the thinnest of the files. After every file and folder was in it’s place Natalie quickly locked every drawer within her desk and swiftly left the office. “Perhaps I can trick Anton into leaking some information.”
